And the concept of this movie is also very popular folk lore which is - if any child died with in 10-13 days after this janeu festival with a incomplete wish he will turn into Brahmdaitya/Munjya

Actually munjya can be only seen by the blood relatives of munjya. So the grandma is the sister of munjya which we can see in the first scene of the movie. So this grandma's older son has a son which is Bittu. The older son had same vision like Bittu. So when munjya slapped and marked Bittu he made Bittu his hostage to complete his incomplete wish of marrying Munni. Hope u understand
