Ritual that is shown in the beginning of the film is called upananayan a practice that was once done for all the people but after the British came to Bharat they introduced the caste system which destroyed this practice and now this practice is mostly done to Brahmins . Me as a Brahmin also did the practice of upanayan and after the practice i really understood that it is very sacred and good .
