I’m reading the Jim Henson biography by Brian Jones right now. Great to see so many of the people and places talked about in the book.

I wonder if heaven for Jim is living in a place like Sesame Street where the muppets are alive and actual people and whatever.

Yes, we noticed that too. The timing of the narration does seem to be off as well. They typically did the narration in multiple languages (sometimes 16 or more) - so maybe that's why they got it wrong here.

How come the muppets sometimes have their legs on and sometimes don't
@joepluto Жыл бұрын
Sometimes the legs are in the shot, sometimes they ain't. It takes different techniques, different shots, and sometimes different puppets to create the illusion. This is some great behind the scenes footage of the work behind Emmet Otter. Jim's nature and way of working--including his feedback for Jerry and Richard and his flirtations with the lady builder--are plainly evident.

What is this documentary called?
@NerdsMakeMedia9 ай бұрын
It was from a U.S. government production called “Vision”. Four or five short reports on Americans who are creative or innovative. It was made for only international audiences but is now in the public domain.
