I collected you from Gishushu near Karago and Mwendo (locations) as dirty birds were busy shitting on you .... guide my fingers as I tell the tale and legacy of Rwanyonga". Never seen or heard such an epic intro ... typical Rwanda roots of fine classy arts, bluesy, poetic, minor chords, alto vocals and a "2Pac-ish" sophisticated rimes and cuts. This piece is fire.

If you could give a translation beside (English, German, French..what ever..) , knowing about a lot of culture spread over the whole world..second till firth generation, following Ruanda-Urundi anyhow.. But lost their language some how. It would helping a lot for each of us having "somehow" connections from the past to fill in for the future..worldwide. There are things deeply hidden in old kinyarwanda that you can never translate in foreign tongues. This one song covers a whole period in the kingdom of Rwanda under Rwabugili rule. Around half of 19th century. It you could convey the scenery, the poetry and the 'original rap' phraseology, you may end up with 5 books at least.
