And not only is he entitled, he feels that way because he was born as a white man. And apparently white people deserve the right to murder black people or anyone of color, and then go eat pizza and get married, retire, and run off into the sunset. I hope “the blacks” (according to his words) who are in there with him give him hell.

Dunn's former neighbor, Charles Hendrix, said he was not surprised by his behavior Hendrix described Dunn as arrogant and controlling, adding that Dunn's ex-wives told him that Dunn was violent and abusive toward them, although he never personally witnessed this.[41] Hendrix spoke of a previous discussion where Dunn asked him if he knew anyone who would "take care of" someone who infuriated him in an unrelated incident, and Hendrix interpreted further discussion as Dunn wanting to put a hit on this person......

It absolutely blows my mind how people can get angry over peoples interests that are different from theirs. Such an intense hate towards rap/hip-hop music or culture is definitely rooted in racism. It’s so sick.

It was obviously a hate crime when he was giving vague dumb excuses to pull out a gun. I don’t mean to get political, but it’s incredibly aggravating that the US still doesn’t want to ban guns even when some of the most random deaths and crimes these past 10 years have literally happened just because a trigger-happy psycho had a gun and decided to try it out on someone. 🙄

Its sadly a great illustration of how institutional racism works. He felt justified because in his mind, rap music is black music AND the music of criminals, & that, again, in the mind of a racist, is a clear through line to loud music equals criminals equals danger & violence equals he feels justified in his own careless, callous disregard for their lives. They were meaningless to him, they had no future or purpose in his mind, so its not really a crime to him. Its deeply disgusting & still all too common.

Hailey, I am halfway through your video and I cannot help but notice that you actually incorporated a photo of Trayvon Martin when you got to the part where you talked about Jordan‘s family and showed photos (the one of him holding his baby brother to be exact). I’m sure that this was not your intention but it is something that I wanted to point out because they are not the same person and someone who isn’t knowledgeable on the Trayvon Martin case, could easily be confused or simply misled by your choice of photo. All love, just honestly pointing out a tiny error. Anyways, thanks for covering Jordan’s Story … our hearts go out to his family ❤

So, I absolutely loathe when teens/younger adults play music so obnoxiously loud you can't hear yourself think too (any genre.) Especially since you absolutely can enjoy music at a reasonable "loud" volume. BUT this was the most unnecessary thing I can think of. What right does he have to think those kids needed to obey him because he didn't like it?! If there's one thing I hate just as much as obnoxiously loud music, it's controlling, entitled individuals like this. Sickening. Throw the book at him. EDIT: As a responsible owner of many firearms, this is also the exact type of numb nuts that should NOT EVER have permission to obtain a permit to own or use a firearm.

Right? My twin sis and I had some teens pull up next to us in their car blasting “party in the USA” by Miley Cyrus when we were chillin in a parking lot. I was honestly a bit annoyed cause the dudes in the car were asking for our #’s and the whole group just seemed to want some kind of reaction that I didn’t want to give. We just ended up playing along a little to make ‘em happy and they were kinda like “OOOO, yes they’re chill” and then we drove off! (Also, obvi we didn’t give no teen boys our #’s or any attention like that, that’s just gross & we’re adults in our 20’s lol).

As someone with a neurological disease loud music is so painful. It's nice when people lower their volumes for me but at the same time I don't purposely place myself near people that are doing it also. If i have no choice I just explain my disabilities especially if it's just for a few minutes it can send me to the hospital. If they're still obnoxious after that I just report them if the noise ordinance laws of the location qualify. It's not hard to be kind to others though. Violence is never the answer. The teenagers didn't even seem bad & definitely didn't deserve this. Extremely uncalled for.

I've heard about this case before and I'm just appalled that Michael Dunne would take Jordan's life over loud music, I mean loud music can be annoying and he could have just parked at a different spot or go to another gas station, but he chose to solve the problem by using a gun and fire it at Jordan and his friends. Also it's sickening how Dunne thinks he's in the right and that he also thinks that Jordan is at fault which just makes me mad.

Agreed with your point, and the whole situation should have been avoided. As an adult he should know better, however I believe he shot at the car not over the loud music but because of the disrespect. It’s probably not smart to tell an adult stranger “f***” you etc. The loud music probably started the altercation but the profanity back and forth escalated it.

This one has always broken my heart. Jordan was so young and had his life ahead of him, and his friends have to live with this for the rest of their lives, and because of what? Wounded pride? Dunn is deplorable and I think he's still refusing to take responsibility, which has lost him his fiancee and given him a life sentence. (Side note: I'm glad Rhonda broke things off. Dunn lowkey comes off as controlling and she definitely deserves better.)

Been watching your channel and listening to your podcast for a couple weeks now. I really do appreciate how you say it how it is when it comes to discrimination or bigotry of any kind with these cases. Keep it up girl 🫶🏾

He thought he shot and killed a thug when instead it was a teenage boy. Now he’s a prison with ACTUAL thugs for the rest of his life. He should of just ignored the music bruh

absolutely disgusting how this murderer instantly started criminalizing a group of young black boys who were simply enjoying their music. There is 100% some racism involved here edit: yepp those letters prove my exact point.

The fact that he called them (slur) idiots…. Like that is actually flabbergasting. This man is so racist that he thinks black children deserve to DIE 😨

It’s very sad.. it angers me soo much the entitlement of this man to demand that other people need to do as he says.. then when the kids defend themselves and talk crap.. as they had every right to do.. they weren’t threatening him at all.. just because he didn’t like the music?? Nah.. he didn’t respect or like the people that happened to be listening to said rap music. Also, he really thought that the cops would take his side .. perhaps where he’s from the cops might have.. but not in this case.. It saddens me how much anger this caused the guy.. and how it was worth the life of a child.. sickening to think that this man probably doesn’t even think about Jordan as a human being.. all he saw was a car of black guys. Who he probably automatically assumed they were thugs just because they listen to loud rap music.. which i know plenty of white people who do the same.. And the arrogance he had in court as well… he should rot.. the face he made when the love of his life didn’t lie for him though… that was it for me. Defeat. I hope he understands one day.

Hearts goes out to his family and friends , especially the ones who have to witness that and in the car with him. I pray for him to rest in peace. That man deserve what he deserves, hell. And im on the urge to cry because no one have to go through that.
