@@dren5810 aura having the capacity to sense when youre being watched is a far cry from "its impossible to surprise aura users ever." Or literally every surprise twist. And ambush would be impossible. This includes Amber and a number of other times where rwby characters are shown to be caught off guard or surprised. I would imagine the sense takes immense effort to hone and is subtle enough that its easy to bypass. Or prone to interferance when one is surrounded by more people. For one thing, from personal experience there is a point where trying too hard to sneak up on someone gives me away but if im just moving calmly around not focussing in too much on my target i scare the heck out l of most people as i get almost against them without them noticing.

I know this was four months ago but I have a theory. Remember how Pyrrha said that aura can be imbued into the armor and weapons of hunters and huntresses? Well it is heavily implied that the extra metal Jaune customized his armor and Crocea Mira with after Volume 3 came from the wreckage of Pyrrha’s own armor and weapons. If you look closely during her death scene, some of Pyrrha’s armor, and Milo, did not disintegrate when she was killed by Cinder. In addition, the blacksmith in volume 4 chapter 1 states(and I am paraphrasing because I can’t remember the exact quote and my phone is being a dick today) that the metal Jaune used to alter his gear was extremely damaged, as if it had been partially melted. Now, who do we know that had recently ended up on the business end of some extreme heat? Pyrrha Nikos. The conclusion is that Pyrrha’s aura preserved those sections of armor, as well as Milo, allowing them to be integrated into Jaune’s own gear, thereby essentially allowing her to protect him even in death. We already know Aura can be extracted, so if Pyrrha’s aura is truly there, they can extract the aura from Jaune’s gear and reconstitute her, either via the Staff of Creation or putting it into a robot body a la Penny. My money’s on the former, as it seems like they might be heading that way, and because the strain of the latter may kill Pietro. I have a fanfic to that effect but It’s extremely long and detailed and I don’t know if KZbin has a character limit to these comments. I do not know how to attach documents to a KZbin comment, and in order to get around that I would have to post it to someplace like FF.Net, which I am hesitant to do as I have high-functioning autism and don’t really have much self confidence in my own abilities. Humans can be brutal in their judgement and I am afraid they will judge it more harshly than normal because of the fact it’s my first. Not to mention the people who would trash it anyway because they exist only to make others miserable. TL:DR I would post it but there are a number of technical and psychological headaches to be overcome first.

I've been a fan of RWBY for years since I really started getting into it around volume 3/4, but I don't think I was ever really part of the "fandom", so basically when it comes to hearing about RWBY from other people, it's non-fans talking about it in passing about "how shit the visuals are" despite only having seen the first volume(s), or pointing out character flaws as if they expect everyone to be flawless and perfect human, or something like that. I guess what I'm trying to say is, it's really nice to see somebody show such joy, excitement and passion in regards to this series. I don't see that sort of thing often around my "corner" of the internet.
