Looks really good on her. I always imagined her hair would get steadily longer. I did make/manipulate a screenshot to give her a Cinder-like haircut with one side swept to hang down in front of her face that looks a little like what she'll have, at least on one side. I also gave her some dark eye-shadow for another version. Almost a goth look.

I don't know why I got all misty when Pietro said, "You...painted it!" But, I loved it also. I gasped and I'd thought he might be Penny's dad but then he said, "My daughter has told me so much about you," and I said, "Oh yeah." I always held out hope that we'd see her again if we ever got to Atlas, but I didn't EXPECT it. I HOPED and when the green rays came down to kill the grimm, I yelled, "YAAASSSS!"

I have been waiting for this since I watched the first episode dropped. I love your reactions as always. I am torn about the new Qrow outfit because I love it but I am only getting my first version of Qrow cosplay done let alone starting a new one 😂

Hmm. Qrow's new VA is pretty good. I was able to notice the difference (possibly because I was looking for it, but eh), it's a little bit higher, and a bit less rough (I'd say Old Qrow was like heavy sandpaper, New is light). Personally, I think I do prefer the rougher Qrow voice, cus I think it sorta fit the type of person Qrow is, but Jason's voice is definitely close enough that I'll be able to get used to it pretty quickly, just need to hear it more. In other words, god I love this episode. All the negativity flying around after the end of last volume sorta left me in this sorta emotional limbo in regards to RWBY (made it hard to remember all the stuff I liked about it), but this drew me straight back in. Enjoyed this in a way that I haven't really enjoyed stuff since I was a kid, when things were simpler and you could just like/love something because it was cool.

I get that second point... I mean as someone who's weirdly sensitive to others' emotions, it stresses me out more so when people are all so cynical/doom and gloom about stuff, and I get it, a lot of bad stuff happened prior to the premier, and not to mention we still have the usual divide in the fandom, but would it kill people to not crush people's hopes/happiness at watching a show? In conclusion, I really am happy about this first episode, and as per internet/fandom toxicity, I just tend to stay away, if only for my own mental health. -This is why I tend to stay as a casual viewer for most media.-

Much Ado Voices are definitely my forte, so I noticed it quite a bit right away, but I think it works well enough. The new VA is a good actor, and it works well enough for me to be happy ^^

It's not so noticeably different as to be distracting, and I'm sure that once it's been around long enough for me to not think about it, I... won't think about it, I guess. I'm always a bit hyper-aware whenever there's a voice change for a character I like; the example I always think of is with the Dresden Files audiobooks. They couldn't get the same guy to read the 13th book, and the guy they got to replace him for it was quite different, which was painfully distracting when I really liked the original voice. But like I said, Qrow's new guy is close enough that I should stop noticing it after a few more episodes.

Lady with white/blond hair and these blue eyes, now look at the family portrait for the schnee family at mama schnee, they actually have some similarles and like the reason her skin is not as pale is because she's been hiding down here in mantel.
