It's just me or writers with this episode suddenly remembered how the characters used to be during the first volumes? The characters' interactions in this episode have shown the quirks they had in the first times and that they were pretty much gone ever since the show took its dark and edgy direction. I don't know about you but seeing Ruby and Nora in their silliness, Jaune being a but goofy and Penny being her usual self made me so happy that I had a big dumb grin on my face.

Volume 6 had pretty in character reactions hell we’ve learned weiss weak spot to small cute things during vol 2 and having it make a return, jaunes quirkiness dealing with his sister the whole interaction before the train in ep 1 honestly it wouldnt make sense to act the way they do like that during the whole time they learned the truth through jinn, and the apathy fuck with emotions so theres that, honestly i say all of volume 6 was very much im character past the apathy

Neither Ren nor Nora explicitly said they got together, yet that's what's to be understood from how they interact with each other, from their moments furing the fight with that Grimm who destroyed their home, hand holding and blushing on the ship to Haven to Nora fishing for compliments last episode, and Blake and Yang follow a similar pattern with the fight with Adam, hugging and crying afterwards and Yang staring at Blake's new look (though in hindsight we've had Nora yell "get away from MY MAN")

Not sure if this is true, but I also heard that the whole "Qrow is Ruby's dad" theory actually angered Monty Oum. We're free to believe whatever theories/headcanons we want, regardless of evidence, but if publicly arguing/supporting a theory/headcanon angers the very creator of the show that has given us entertainment for years, then it's time to stop. We can still privately believe in them and even write fanfiction and such, but we have to understand that it simply is not canon in proper.

I think the Ace-ops not being friend jsut futher shows how detached Atlas is, and also how much fault Ironwoods plan is. True getitng job done is good, but without full trust then how can you improve? makes the theroy that a traitor is there stronger as well. But more importantly, I think this team will be a good coutnerpart to Combo RWBY and JNR, which will show them the true meaning of strenght in friendship trust. Theya re the ones that can change Atlas and Mantle, nto Ironwood.

It seems that the team is pretty much convinced that there's nothing they can do about Salem, so they might as well try to do good wherever/however else they can, and with the Winter Maiden and Atlas Relic presumably secured, the current plan is to help Atlas/Mantle however they can with their shiny new Huntsman/Huntress licenses while letting Ironwood try to get back in touch with Ozpin with Oscar's help. This kinda feels like the series is killing time before Salem arrives in Atlas and they'll have to protect the city from her (which will hopefully put them on the path towards figuring out how to defeat her, which we all know has to happen at some point) so let's hope that the Volume at least continues to be entertaining on its way there.

Murder, your emotions were all over the place, a fantastic reaction for someone claiming to not have reacted much XD And that OP song, you nailed it, dude. This really felt so awkward but in a weirdly good way. What I mean, after all the drama, the pain, fear, panic and shattering truth bombs to have some normalcy returned and the ability to just relax for once - felt so strange. I really felt the same for our group, like... is it ok to be 'normal'? Really nice episode and it really felt like I was revisiting vol 1-2 all over again. Very nostalgic and nice. I really enjoyed the Jacques storming up to Ironwood and the following scene with Weiss (really wanted to hear whatever Winter was gonna say before Penny interrupted though). I think 'Not Friends. Family' was fantastic and her demeanor, to me, much better. I personally felt that her behavior back home was still that of a whiny and immature child trying to defy her parent, BUT, this was true strength and growth - to remain calm and to stand up, to say I gave you and your views up for a REAL family. Very nice. (Also, really appreciate Ironwood standing up for her, both back at the dinner party AND here as well). Also, I don't think it's a bad thing to work with others and not be friends. I've had many great coworkers that I trust to do the job/ help me out but wouldn't call my friends. To me, friends are something very special and are people that you build a bond with, I can't really explain too well but it's just a connection that is unbreakable. I have met and know many people, have laughed and joked around with coworkers, had holiday parties and thrown them B-Day parties at work but haven't hung out with them outside of business hours. I would say I have 4 friends and I think that's a blessing. So, I dunno. Maybe I'm just weird but I don't see an issue with working with others and not seeing them as friends. Maybe I'm just too closed off from the world XD

The fact that Watts is supposed to be dead makes a LOT of things fall into place much easier, especially knowing that he helped design a lot of Mantle and Atlas tech. If he was high enough in tech to know the main supplier of dust on a first-name basis, he was important. He's spent too much time doing Salem's work to be able to maintain a decent cover position anywhere, ESPECIALLY in Atlas. Even more especially an Atlas that's on high guard. And yet, if he'd just up and left, just quit one day, he'd be the number one suspect for a lot of things that have happened. He's not the suspect because everyone thinks he's dead.
