Carriers like to throttle using Hotspot. I tried it using my hot spot and after a while they throttled to like 3g.I used another phone to to test the speed. My plan include 60gb of high speed hotbspot data data. But they are some Damn effing liar's.

Bought this today..adjusted all the recommended settings ive got 160mb Internet, all my library was lagging so im taking mine back tomorrow. Such a shame as I was so excited starting it up. Any ideas of how i could make this work would be appreciated.

I have about 100mbps down and 20 up. I have my console wired and a fixed IP set in network settings. At home and my mom's apartment I have solid connection and a very usable gameplay experience.

I got to say the PlayStation portal is amazing. I used it last night for a few hours playing FC 24 and it has been amazing. I really enjoy it and I just picked it up yesterday in the morning. I do have a feeling that is going to be even more amazing when I go out to the house of family member knowing that I'll be able to play my PlayStation 5 Library Everywhere I Go.

Great video! For Blue tooth just get a Bluetooth adapter with a 3.5mm audio jack. Like the kind you can use on some cars. That should solve the problem with Bluetooth. I'm not paying $200. For playstation ear buds. There are ways around this. Hope this helps. 😁😉 Love my PS5 portal. So cool! 😎

Walmart has them pretty regularly homie, I bought one on Monday and it arrived today. Amazon has them as well but the prices seem to really vary quite a bit. GameStop also usually has them as well but you have to have Pro membership to purchase or even see them in stock on their site.

No, PS Portal basically allows you to play on your PS5 remotely. So everything you do on your Portal is happening on your PS5. This is not a standalone device.

The portal itself has 6GB of built in memory. It can run native games but Sony has it locked. Someone had just hacked it to allow psp and ps2 games to play on it. So it’s possible in a update

This is definitely a device you have to research on how to get the best experience out of it, once you figure out how to connect your ps5 and test the portal inside and outside your home you will be amazed. I'm blown away by how well it works. I hope you keep researching and get it to where it works smoothly.

I have a Rog ally myself and it’s limited. The fact you’re trying to act like every game is playable on there is hilarious. His vid is valid tho. The Rog ally Z1 is 700. Where with the portal you can get that for 200 and a ps5 for 499. The thing is you’re getting better experience on the games

@@JudahIAmKng exactly what games have you played that cannot run on the ally? Outside of maybe star citizen, there hasn't been a single game on there that I couldn't run. At least the ally is a PC, portable and will run just fine on its on. The portal has to have a strong connection, a wired connection from home and a few other things to tweak it to get the graphics just right on the portal. Oh and good luck trying to actually get a portal without over paying by about 50 to 100 bucks. My portal is nice and my ps is great at home but as far as portability, the ally still shits on them

Lol, the fact that you think you have GB wifi is comical. You may have GB internet, but i assure you, unless you spent thousands of dollars on wireless routers, you don't have true gb wireless speeds. You're likely pushing 500mbs or, more commonly, 300

I have terrible internet, 30mb/s. it was impossible to play. The connection kept dropping and lagging. simply a tragedy. But... I replaced the router with a really cheap TP-Link ax10 with WiFi 6.. since then, I play Call Off Duty online, Helldivers 2 and I don't have any lags, everything works perfectly, like gold. 30mb on such a weak internet. In 99% of cases, the router is to blame for the poor functioning of the portal.

@@b1swoll273 I have gb package tested on my pc through Xfinity and was getting 950-980 mbs. But can for sure say sometimes can run lower. My parents had gb package and like you said there’s ran at 250-350 mbs not 900-1000. But I tested my cousins portal and with my ps5 connected to Ethernet too and had very minimal latency and no lag. There’s videos though on how to make this have less connection issues etc
