One of the first 6/8 I learned when I heard it on a Muirhead's LP when I begun piping in 1969, I play it in a set with " Macneils of Ugadale " and other rarely played ones nowadays

I never realized it till watching this video, but Murdo Mackenzie is a tune that works great with A minor harmony because there's no C# in the melody, so you could use tape to tune all the harmony players' C's to C natural, and it wouldn't affect the melody at all, but opens up this awesome spooky minor (technically Dorian) harmony that you've got going on here. I'd love to hear this arrangement done by a full pipe band!

Class stuff...Do you have sheet music for the harmonies?

I’m afraid not. I don’t tend to write them down

are these bellows pipes? Or are they mouthblown small pipes?
