Murewa is a "Growth Point" in North East Zimbabwe just off the Mutoko - Nyamapanda Road to Mozambique. The town is approximately 75 KM from Harare. The area is largely populated by small commercial farms. Unknown to most, Murehwa hides Domborembudzi Mountain (The Mountain of Goats) a granite monolith, some 3 km long, 300m at its highest point. This beautiful granite feature is ideal for hiking, and birding. No guide required

1998 ndichipedza A level at Murewa high school. Ndakakurira pagrowth point. Was hoping to see my brother's business Chibanguza but the area has grown so much I couldn't even recognize any of the buildings. I'm glad the school didn't take town the old stone church. It has so much history and old unmarked Graves around it and the old dining hall.
