It's a wonderful machine. Got mine back in June for trips to the coast. It's brilliant on hills. As for keeping the box, when I cut the nylon bands off I found out the bottom wasn't attached. So if I did need to send it back l'd need a banding machine

I am making the most of mine. As for the box, I was advised by yjr dealer to slip the bands off rather than cut them, so I did. Happy eFolding !! Regards Michael

No its fine - you can tape the box up or if your really stuck we can send you one out for a small fee for postage.

Is the seat very low to the ground? Bit worried I might not be able to get up from too low down.

I also have a problem getting from low seats but I manage with the cushions on helping by pulling on the handle bars. the worst part for me is getting on leg over the centre of the scooter once I am standing. Hope this helps. Regards Michael

I think they say keep the packaging so often because they think that older people might forget by the time they get to the next flap. 🙂 After that unboxing there is no need to go to the gym for a week. Look forward to seeing you here in the East there is a caravan park just down the road from me.

Yes, the retention of information period becomes less and less with age but EACH flap is taking it a little too far. I think I know the caravan park you mean and I do believe we stopped there before meeting you at Nothreeps. Right now I am in a layby alongside the Kennet & Avon Canal near Hungerford, making my way slowly across the country. Regards Michael

Looks like a very useful machine and will get you out and about on your adventures. How long did it take to charge the battery and how far will one charge take you? I must say you are more patient than me with the packaging and a bit astonished the manufacturer expects you to keep and store that big box. I have a roof space full of the stuff! lol

Thanks for your comment Malcolm. I don't know what state the battery was in when I started but it took about 4-5 hours so maybe it was very low. According to the blurb that should take me around 14 miles maybe up to 20 kms.. As you rightly say, it's a big box to keep for a year. Hopefully I shall not have to use it.
