The boy means them BTS, the girl is representing ARMY! From the first time they struggle, ARMY never leave them alone.Then the boy wake up but didn't saw the girl, so he felt he lost it. So he keep walk and run to find the girl. The he remember when the boy and the girl walk together everybody laugh at them, but the girl never leave him. The boy keep. searching until he meet the dragons(Haters), he keep fight the dragon until dragon lost but the girl don't show up. He fell said until he cry then his tear turn the cloths to be the girl again. So actually that means ARMY never leave them.

The Boy represents the BTS and the Girl is ARMYs. When the girl disappears,he thinks he is alone,but she became the cloak he is wearing to protect him,only he doesn’t know. He will face the dragon and think he killed him alone,but in the end,when he cries and she appears again,he realizes she has always been with him to protect him. This is representation of ARMYs story with BTS. We were always silent,but we always protected them and were always with them. There is a part of the MV where they appear together and many people laugh at the dream of defeating the dragon and,in real life,many laugh at BTS’s dream of becoming famous.Just Like in the Video,he defeated the dragon,even though other people didn’t believe it,BTS achieved their dreams even when it took a lot of hate from a lot of people and they only had the ARMYs to Support themselves

Actually the girl is meant to be army. She turns into a cape tht protects and walks with the boy (bts). Even when ppl pointed and laughed at them armys walked with them. I think the starting where they mentioned “they almost lost armys and messed up” was back to when they were thinking of disbanding which they revealed in the mama speech🥺

What really broke me, cause this made me cry so much twice already, was when the girl (ARMY) and the guy (BTS) were being laughed at because they were told they couldn't defeat the dragon (being famous I guess? Maybe even being someone to love full heartedly and someone who inspires others, maybe even dreaming of going to Grammy's??) and then the end, when he realizes that the girl was ALWAYS with him, quietly protecting him from the cold and being hurt from the dragon. It is just so heart warming for me and it makes me feel so appreciated, actually, and it makes me happy that BTS feels appreciated from us ARMY

Guys the boy and the girl in the mv represent BTS and Army. The part where other shadows were showing laughing at the boy and the girl, it showed how everyone laughed at them from the very start of their debut. BTS and armys had a tough time and we mean it when we say we only have each other.

This was already my favorite song of their entire discography. But that they made such a touching music video to go with it, I haven't the words to describe how happy it made me. It was like waking up to the warmest sweetest hug. Loved it. And the imagery. ARMY being the one to hold their hand, comfort them, stay with them through the dark, act as a cloak to shield their back and keep them warm. Giving them the strength to accomplish great deeds. This is how they see us. And that makes me get choked up just thinking about it, even as I type this comment.

Not gonna lie, I cried a bit. Watching and listen to this MV is like getting a warm hug (+low key trigger my post BTS concert depression). I've seen a couple MV that use the concert tour footage from other artists before, but I've never seen one that tie the footage with the animation narrative that really elevate the song and give a deeper meaning. It may look simple when compare to their other MV, but I love how they edit the footage and the animation together so thoughtfully. The only complain I have is that the blue dress and the cape should be *PURPLE* p.s. I would've paid to watch the full feature length of the animation part (feat. BTS cartoon cameo)

Oh lord. This mv really gave me tears. So the boy is bts. The girl is army. The girl transforms into a Cape for the hero. Hence army becomes wings for bts. They almost lost us when they disbanded. But they realised that come what may we are still with them . Standing by them against the bad , the people laughing at them. The hero with his cape ( army) goes to defeat the dragon with his sword, hence bts overcomes adversities with their mic. By singing to the world.
