I don't get this comment. In this fight against Akhamadaliev, he's getting hit a lot. He didn't successfully block many punches, actually kept dropping his hands the moment before they landed, and didn't have much movement. I just watched a highlights video of Tapales vs Iwasa before this one, and I thought Tapales had literally 0% chance of winning against Inoue. But this changed my opinion. Since that fight, he's improved a lot, and now I think he has about 3% chance against Inoue. He needs a KO win because there is no way he can outbox Inoue. But he has some power, so if he can land a big shot, although it's very unlikely, Inoue might fall.

How does boxing judging work? Is a clean hard punch and a clean jab the same point? And like how much point does a knockdown count?
@christianmartinez8
@christianmartinez8 4 ай бұрын
A power punch and a jab are scored the same. When rounds are too close to score they usually go to the one who landed the harder/effective punches. A knockdown is scored as a 10 point round, and a 8 point round to the one who got knocked down (10-8)
