Hi there, I have one Muela model myself: it's a 'Sarrio'. Single bevel, crown stag. Can't beat them, mine also still has the factory edge on it. Even after some chopping for a couple of years in the Belgian Ardennes. Nice to see your Muela's, thanks for posting!

Muela knives are like Rolex watches. Use it and if you manage to break one then send it back and they will fix it for free.. You mentioned that word decorative LMAO. They are the working knives of Spain and dont be afraid to use and abuse it just because they look pristine. I have multiple Muela blades (cant count them anymore to date) that are older than me (new ones as well) and are still intact and some were used heavily so please use them and dont hold back :). Nice collection you have there. :) try the new release metals they make knives with. I just got back from Valencia with a beautiful Rehala 26 stag crown and the balance is perfect. Hasta la proxima vez 🙏 saludos and be safe.

I would love to see a review of that Nepalese Kukri. I have an old one I got 30 years ago and I have used it to chop everything including frozen solid ice blocks. They are a good buy and made for battoning if you must do that. I find a small hand ax works best for chopping. BUt battoning is all the rage now???

I just bought the Katz Alamo Bowie. Crown stag handle. Check it out. I should have bought 2 of those for the seriously over-priced knife i just got. $560 when converted into my shitty valueless Canadian cash, plus all kinds of tax! Oh well, it is wtf it is......it is a really good knife, but it had a big leftwards curve in the blade when i took it out of the box. I always try to use any new knife i get, (i collect them) as hard as i can when i first get it to see if it will hold up. And im a fuckin nut case....lol I probably shouldnt have gone as hard as i did on it, it did bend slightly backwards, very slightly, but i hit log as hard as i could over a hundred times b4 it bent, and only very slightly. A degree two. Still i paid way too much money. im going Muela.

if that blade (the Muela Khukri knife) chipped upon hitting a nail embedded on a wood then we Filipinos would simply laugh at this MUELA KNIFE brand being just a worthless piece of aesthetically beautiful knife but failing test... unless of course it's a concrete nail it hit then the chip on the blade would be understandable, but if it's just an ordinary nail that chipped the blade then the quality of that blade is worthless piece of junk to us Filipinos... Filipinos don't buy blades because they are aesthetically beautiful, we buy them because they are reliable and sturdy... We have knife/bolo blades that we deliberately test on a 3 to 4 inches nail and the blade remains perfectly intact like the nail it hits is nothing but a piece of butter... The blades we make may not look as pretty as these MUELA Blades but they are tested to be virtually indestructible, functional, and reliable... The Filipino Blades will always serve the purpose of being an efficient killing tool, the best in the world even the knife fighting skills of the army that was featured in another video promoting the MUELA Blade is another Filipino knife fighting arts called the "Kali"... They looked good that MUELA Blade that's why I watched this youtube video but I noticed the chip on the Khukri blade when it hit a nail and that changed my mind on the MUELA Blades... If my life depends on it then I'm sorry but will not spend a dime on their blades... Click this link so you can tell if I'm telling the truth or not, kzbin.info/www/bejne/nGHIYaprl8qAhtU
