The angle brackets at the top should be placed inside. Not on the outside from the casing to wall stud. Then it's only visible when the bed is open. With the same strength.

8:58 is a life saver, the manuel says 1/2 inch, but it's actually 1/4 inch. Had to unscrewed all the screws cause I was following the manual. Wasted almost an hour.

The problem could be in the mechanism of the bed. If you know what kind it is, you can research how to fix it. If it is one of our beds, please contact the office at [phone] Monday-Friday 9:00-4:00. How high are the feet when opened? Was wondering how much space there is under the bed and if I can fit my 13” high foldable futon in the space underneath.

It’s roughly 13” so it would depend on the futon armrests and weather or not they would be wider than the bed which is about 65.5” so they could be on the outside.

Don't buy it. Its the cheapest MDF board. Cheaper than plywood. Not even one piece is wood. It's not worth it. On top of paying $1600 plus taxes you have to pay extra to assemble the bed. Youre better off buying the material and hired a professional installer. At the end you'll save some money and the most important you'll get better quality and more durable product.
