Get some light colored clothing to wear in the extreme heat and I might buy one. Wearing black in extreme heat doesn't help keep the body cool. I've never seen an Arab wearing black in their desert. Never seen a black Camel either.

I’m always fascinated by the recovering shit buried in sand with a vehicle on… sand. Lol. I live in Florida and obviously we have sand, but not the powdery sand you all have to work in over there. More people get stuck in the swamps than on the beaches here. I grew up in WV and thick rich dirt that turns into thick rich mud when wet is our version of your sand. It’ll swallow a vehicle whole at the first hint of wheel spin. It’s miserable to walk and try to work in and makes everything 10X heavier just to add insult to injury. Lol. Another awesome video, Rick. I look forward to them every week.

@Louie23092 ай бұрын
That’s general crane hire mate. Most construction sites, mine sites etc where cranes work are off road. You do everything and you never know till you get there what you are up against. Where we are, there is white beach sand everywhere. We have developed a few ways to deal with it, but getting bogged is just part of the game. Often we will have dozers tow us into a site or up a mountain to get us there and that’s the difference between good operators and steering wheel attendants. The good operators can figure out how to get the job done for the customer safely and within a reasonable budget.

Great job! We learned the hard way on our M543A2 to put a big shackle in the pintle hook when using ropes (although not that large) because the fibers can wedge into the gap between the top and bottom jaw putting too much pressure on the latch and breaking it or stripping the rope thru it.

Been driving for almost 30 years and now retired. Also done heavy haul. Awesome recovery. I hate haters. I have dropped a few trailers because of a faulty fifth wheel. A driver is responsible for his equipment but it could be a number of things. Angle to fifth wheel to tractor.. height of fifth wheel.. I've done many tug tests and it still released.. I agree with you its not your responsibility for someone else's equipment. Great job 👍
