Awesome eat jakko always good when they roll out of a snag and smash a lure!!! I wanna fish some new spots around the maq but the problem is access do you contact land owners for permission or just walk the creeks and access public areas?

Cheers bro, this is private property. Access is always tough for rivers so it’s handy to have access to some remote locations. Gotta be careful walking creek lines as a lot of them aren’t covered by crown land which technically means you’re trespassing. Most land owners are fine as long as you’re doing the right thing.

Hi Jakko, the last few days dad and I have been fishing the Macquarie river in Dubbo. We didn’t have much luck got 2 decent bites but didn’t hook up. We were fishing spinners, surface and bait (Frankfurts). Do you have any tips for fishing the winter months in the rivers like the Macquarie. Thanks Noah
