Nice vid mate, working hard at the end there! Footage at the end felt like floating through the trail.
@scorch2223 жыл бұрын
cheers bro! yeah karrackatoa is a bit pedalling and yep I was working haha... ALSO with the chin mount you hear the breathing a lot more. Cheers for the comment legend glad you like it.
@Whitey1003 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I thought that floaty bit didn't really give you a sense of the trail. Krakatoa isn't that flowy! All great trails, just wish I lived closer.
@scorch2223 жыл бұрын
@@Whitey100 hahaha yeah I think the chin mount is better for like flow and jumps but then any steep and tech stuff the chest mount is way better because you actually get a better sense of the tech...

@scorch2223 жыл бұрын
awww sheit that sucks bro! can see how that happens though ay really steep lips
@reubs913 жыл бұрын
@@scorch222 the only response I got from the Mtb community about those steep lips was “learn how to jump properly”. Bit hard to hit steep lips on a blue run as a sole trader on a weekend run. I rekon they need to cut them down a bit and make them more like ski jumps, leave the doubles and lips to the black or double diamond runs.

I like this style of footage. a suggestion would be to either have a time stamp of the trail name or call it out as you start to ride it.
@scorch2223 жыл бұрын
glad you like it man! ahh I was so close to putting a trail heading on each, I should've... I just wanted to keep it raw and give it a super un edited vibe. happy to take that on board and do that from now on though. Here is the trail order: 1. Boom Boom 2. Busted Nuts 3. Bam Bam 4. Karrakatoa Thanks for the comment ,ate

Is there a whole new trail network there? I haven’t been for over a year. I ran into some riders at Margs saying there is a new side which reminded them of tassie trails?
@DanielMika8652 жыл бұрын
Hey dude, rad video. Are the flowy trails at the start of the video the ones past Bobs Crossing at Lane Pool Reserve / Nanga Mill? Looking to ride Dwelli soon and love those kind of trails. Thanks dude, loving the content! Keep it up! Repping the WA Lads! 🤙🏼

Awesome mate - what camera are you shooting on?
@scorch2223 жыл бұрын
in this particular vid, drone shots are shot with a DJI mavic mini and all the riding is shot on a GoPro Hero 9. I have a Sony alpha mirrorless as-well that I use in other vids. Cheers!

hahaha sexy lips!!! cheers mate! I learnt to jump at the goat farm, just hitting the skills park over and over and over again. its still not my strong suit but im definitely way more confident now after heaps of repetition.
