Thanks Murs for making it cool to be labled as conscious or backpack. I'm from Louisiana and down here everyone's wants to be a gangster. Dont get me wrong, we got some great rappers that really be out in the streets on some gangsta shit. That's jus not me, and I dont try to be that. Murs keeps it real, and he dont gotta be gangsta to be real. I think he channels a voice in hip hop that doesnt get heard enough.
