This song is so meaningful I don’t know where to start. I’ll try to be quick. - This boy group started as 10 in 2016 and despite all their talent they did not get a win. - This song is hardcore but they are REALLY versatile. They are known by common people through their buzz song “Shine”(April 2018)that hit 200M views yesterday :’). - Shine was the song who got them famous. And the member who was put forward as visual was the member E’dawn. Everything seems fine. This was their happiest period. - August- October 2018: The scandal happened. Rumors started spreading that E’dawn and Hyuna for the same agency ( Cube) were dating. They confirmed rumored and the agencies decided to fire them. Not only it was a bad move from them because Hyuna was the artist bringing them the most money but it was a bad move for pentagon. They were just started to get known and loved they removed the visual and they fired the visual of their previous comeback. - from there that was the descent into hell: people got twisted. Since they only know the member E’dawn they thought that if it was not there the group was no more interesting. People left them. Fansites and fanbases closed. They went trough mental breakdown and their Chinese member got in hiatus. - during that time they release such an happy “Naughty boy” (October 2018) song but they were so desperate inside. - February 2019 they made another comeback SHALALA. In the album they have a very particular song called “Spring Snow ”. It says: “Will Spring snow (success/happiness) come back again? Their comeback did not receive lot of attention. - They made another comeback in July 2019. And still did not get a win. Ah Yeah. This is truly one of the most proactive kpop group in the industry. Why? Because their leader (Hui) is a well know music producer. He produced for Vixx, X1 and more. other members are very active in making composing so they comeback when they want. - also they were purchasing the win because a group usually get a win in 2-3 years. If they don’t there are seen as unsuccessful and the agency might terminate the contract. So they had lot of pressure to succeed..(their Chinese member was in hiatus) - So starting from July 2019 until now they got into an more intense schedule to try to get people notice them: world tour Dr Bebe comeback (feb/mar 2020), survival show rtk (apr) and a comeback is planned for before the end of the year. - Dr Bebe: masterpiece. Not only the MV but the full album. You need to watch it for real. You will also discover another stunning vocal: Jinho, they oldest member who enlist in military in May 2020. Their best vocal. Funny fact: PENTAGON has more than 1000 unreleased songs. That’s how hard working they are. Still they did not get a win. Unprepared fanbase, they were only starting to get attention again. - rtk survival show: you should watch if you can. The performances are another level. It can compete Mamas. Not only them but all groups who competed. - they finished 3rd when everyone thought they would be 1st or 2nd. They were seen as threat from other fandoms so they get down graduated. They also suffered form “drag down marketing”. They are now competing with groups that are younger than them from 2 years and more. So fans are like: “love you missed your chance.” - despite all of that, they got the recognition of all artists, everyone knows how good they are and fans start getting back to them. - but as they did not get that crown (from the survival show and all the wins they should have get) they made this song. This song literally means: show wins does not define how good we are. We know how talented we are y’all just gonna have to state fact at a point. If we don’t get a crown, because we know how good we are, we will make ours. 🤧 I named PENTAGON. keep this name in mind cause you will hear about them soon again

The reason why they are insane is their ACTING. They level of ACTING is insane and really distinguished them from other kpop groups during the survival show and until now. They have been really praised for the acting and the amount of passion they put in their performance

When the ropes lit up I thought I I paused the video but that was just you lol Pentagon are so underrated, they’re self-produced geniuses, especially hui (the guy with the endless high notes - btw he did it live whilst dancing in the stage performance), that guy writes arranges and produces almost all of their songs including basquiat, on top of being one of the best vocalist in the whole music industry. Kino, the shiny rope guy also partakes in making their choreos. If you like blackpink you should check out their version of kill this love, you’ll fall off your chair (hui rearranged it completely and they performed it with ONF)
