I'm actually currently working on some videos going over a very early samurai battle that took place in the late 900's, some 6 centuries before Sekigahara, and you might, or might not be surprised to know that the battle looked very different, with the attackers essentially pinning their enemies down in a house and then setting fire to it. Though when the warriors do actually meet, there were only a few hundred of them and it was almost always on horseback and with bow and arrow, very different from the sword and spear carrying massive infantry armies of the late Sengoku period.

Many Samurai survive during Sekigahara i only know Miyamoto Musahi during the war.
