Chiken/turkey breast! The stable of bb. High in protein, low in fats, easy to cook in many dishes, goes with almost everything. Can change the flavor of it by condiments or the way its cooked. I personally love it with pepper, paprika and soy sauce Thank you for the content, keep it up!

Hey John, do you weigh your beef, chicken, fish before cooking or after cooking when you cook your meals fresh or when you meal prep? Thank you very much

After cooking for ease. Consistency is key

Pescatarian here so for me: Seafood (fish, Octopus, lobster, squid, shrimp, mussels, clams, oysters), hydro whey, egg whites, free range whole eggs, fairlife 0% fat skim milk, 0% fat greek yogurt, 0% fat cottage cheese. This keeps my bloodwork especially ldl low even when on a blast. Micros are easily to fill out on chronometer with those plus fruit, veggies, nuts, rice, couscous, oats etc The reason I pick these sources is that while I love competing in mens physique I'm also aware of the health and longevity data and what it says about which populations live the longest and those that eat more pescatarian/med/plant based seem to do better (in the Adventist health study 2 pescatarians beat vegans, vegetarians, and meat eaters in terms of life expectancy). So it seems to me optimal to leverage a diet that provides animal protein with the benefits of being high in plant matter while avoiding the saturated fat and cholesterol which mixed with anabolics can reck health. Plus to appeal to authority Eric helms is a pescatarian and PhD bodybuilder LOL

I’m a beef person too me it has the most nutrients of all the meats. Great video
@murattanrikurt57532 жыл бұрын
Beef/Bison or Fatty Fish because they're higher in essential micronutrients.
@animalpak2 жыл бұрын
We should incorporate a fish video to back this up.

I'd say whey. Why cuz I would get bored of just chicken or beef. Whey u can always change up the flavor and add ins are so simple
@animalpak2 жыл бұрын
This is very true. Truth be told, they're all beneficial in their own ways. But that's the iron game and repetition will happen with these meats.

I love this question. I’d have eggs so in off season I can still have my real brownies.

I’d say it’s beef, but if i were forced i would have to say whey. It’s convenient, and goes good with oatmeal.

What about pork (lean cuts)? Is it the same protein quality as in beef? In my country, pork is more available than beef and much cheaper? Am I missing anything If i include it in my diet while paying attention to keep saturated fat low?

If I had to pick 1 source it would be whey. Beef would be too hard to digest for 6 meals, chicken would become boring, eggs are too fatty and I can't stand fish or egg whites only.

It's not just about the protein part, fat plays a significant role too and red meat compared to the white is richer on micronutrients and vitamins. All in all, each individual has his own needs and needs to plan their nutrition accordingly. Frankly speaking, although I prefer whole foods red meat isn't one I digest that easily so I try to balance it with salmon instead. The same also as Evan mentions in a plethora of videos, I go for whole eggs instead of the whites. If there is 1, I'd go for eggs hands down. Cheers
