Ary-epiglottic (A to E, alphabet increasing but caliber of inlet decreasing) So the Ary-epiglottic narrows the laryngeal inlet While Thyroepiglottic(T to E, alphabet decreasin but caliber of inlet increasing) The 2 muscles attached to epiglottis would obviously vary inlet size

First tense then relax The CT scan(Cricothyroid) tensed them so their TA(Thyroarytenoid) helped them relax.
