_Sir, we put the Brain-Sensing headbands on millions of people, but this data we're getting cannot be correct, there's no readings at all! The devices must be broken!_ No Jenkins, I think they're working just fine.

Johnson: Finally everyone isn't scared of these things.. Shall we start mass producing them? Willis: Precisely... now that we've managed to read their minds.. it's time to start shipping them.. Johnson: Then what? Willis: Well .. we'll simply send out an update patch that will allow us to implant thoughts and emotions directly into their cerebral cortex. Johnson: But why? Willis Don't concern yourself with the how and why .. just do what your told... Johnson: .... ? Willis: Oh .. sorry .. here put this on .... Ok ... now ....just do what you're told...
I have one and it's super awesome regulating homeostasis through realtime feedback.

when you think about virtual reality products 299$ seems overpriced for such sensor.. the oculus rift costs 250 dollar and I belive there been more development and material to it than that... I'd might concider developing for this at a price of.. probably 25 - 50$
@mrbanana64648 жыл бұрын
TOO LITTLE! You have to raise that price to 100$ dollars min

Does this actually work? It seems plausible and would be a game changer for somebody suffering mental health issues like me. I am asking some neuroscientists

I wouldn't be too skeptical. It's neurofeedback, which has a fair amount of evidence. Now, does it work properly & reliably is the issue. Pro-grade machines are in the thousands
@mikecole96766 жыл бұрын
You are correct sir. This is basically a portable neurofeedback machine. It relies on the same principle of brain neuroplasticity that’s at play with NF. I’m glad somebody said this. I’m tempted to buy this if it works properly. Has anybody actually used it?

This and devices like it defeat the purpose of mindfulness. It’s ridiculous that it “keeps score”. You know will know when you’ve achieved true calm. This is a $300 placebo machine and nobody needs one

Part of the relaxing you get from meditation is when you let your brain wonder " not focusing" until it comes back by itself to center and relaxation . The idea of meditation is to lose control on your thoughts. Let your thoughts go and keep observing this is the only way to relax not by resisting where your brain want to go. This device teachs how to focus on your breathing and naturally your brain activity will be reduced but for a short period of time and it will go back to it's activity before the session easily. This device is useless literally.
