1:03 to 1:21 gives me butterflies, beautifully orchestrated and unique song by Muse. Endlessly is about hopelessly having a love for a friend you are obsessed with, and you are thinking of the possibilities of being together with that person, but you know it's hopeless and they don't like you or have a mate already. Very sad but beautiful song.

Endlessly is my favourite track on the album. I see it as someone not able to put into words how much someone means to them - and ironically, the way they put that into words is by saying how hard it is to put it into words. They can’t find the words to confess their love, but they can find the words to describe how they can’t confess that fact, which actually winds up poetically showing how much they love someone. “It’s plain to see, it’s trying to speak” “Hopelessly, I’ll love you Endlessly” “And I won’t leave you falling/If the moment ever comes.” As someone who is… not the greatest at verbalising that sort of thing, sometimes, I relate to this song a lot.

Interesting take, though I'd argue the narrator does an excellent job of putting into words how much someone means to them...Also, it all (the lyrics, how those lyrics are sung, along with the musical accompaniment) comes across to me as a bit "obsessive" (and somewhat passive-aggressive, TBH), while being shot-thru with a darkly-sweet melancholy that makes you feel empathetically sad for the narrator, with (his) inability to actually TELL the other person how (he) really feels, while at the same time emoting a LOT of verbalized passion within (his) own mind...(which is all to say that this is a different thing entirely from not being able to put a feeling into words; the "it" in the first line you quote above isn't necessarily the narrator's voice not being able to "speak", but perhaps IT is the "love" that he imagines existing between himself and his desired other)...Thus, the narrator is trapped in a mental space of promises only verbalized inside (his) head to (himself), but never actually spoken to the other, which ultimately gives this song such an overarching, powerfully sad feeling of unrequited love: the moment (he) could have communicated to the other person ultimately "never comes" (because he couldn't get himself to tell them how he felt), along with, of course, the imaginary shared future with the other that the narrator had so dearly wished for. It's a stellar piece of songwriting.
