I can't imagine how difficult it is to play the same songs over and over and over for years and make it look new. Amazing

not only does matt write the music but he is one of the most inventive and non static guitar players of this generation, and frankly, it's refreshing to see someone do something new and good with a guitar, when you get millions of fans and write refreshing music, then let me know, in the meantime, keep surfin youtube in complete obscurity

Jealousy. I think the video is respecting the fact, and the comments are hating the fact that Matt can play this solo 50 times and you'll hear 51 different versions of it. Each individual New Born solo FTW, not one is any better than any of the others! They're all special in their own little ways! Don't think Matt practises them for hours either, like you and I would... he just plays whatever he feels on the day. RESPECT ^_^

Matt is the very best guitarist in the history of music. My favourites in this Video are 2004 - Live at Glastonbury 2007 - Live at Pinkpop But my absolutely favourite New Born solo is the H.A.A.R.P. - Live at Wembley Stadium 2007-solo. That was fucking awesome.

That and the latest incarnation are the best imo. The version played at Lollapalooza 2007 (I was there) was rather similar to the last one here, and it was amazing.

I particularly enjoyed how Matt just gets more and more outrageous Oh damn I forgot about the last one ! That sounds md looks like hAarp and I love that one .! Every single solo performance is brilliant though in all honesty
