@jpalvarez49725 жыл бұрын
Let's be honest: Muse aren't as revered as Radiohead because they're Radiohead copyists with inferior songwriting. Muse have more style and musical chops (I absolutely enjoy their records), but when it comes down to actual substance, Matt Bellamy cannot touch the towering songcraft that Thom Yorke has exhibited (hence Radiohead routinely dominating "greatest albums" polls and critics' lists). Hop onto Radiohead's AllMusic page and look at the plethora of major acts who've cited them as an influence. Anyone not in denial can see why Yorke and co. have a more lofty position in music history than Muse do.

Hauntingly beautiful. Hearing this has stirred something in my soul. A longing for a love that was never meant to be. Broken and in tears for what we’ve lost. 💔😢

I love this video clip! It says "hopeful, desperate yearning" like nothing else does- but the distorted images also say: "only you can help yourself to live your life extended and not any other person, really". Masterpiece!

I can’t believe that I have never heard this song before a couple months ago it’s the most beautiful & meaningful song in all existence! Muse is only barely 2nd to Queen! I can’t believe that anyone would have challenged his dreams, it’s good that he broke free from that or we would have never had this, for my lack of a different more wonderful word,__________love song!!! I hope they are all living happily ever after! Meanwhile I’ll be listening to this song and dreaming that my never to be legal husband is the one singing this to me, or I to him, in the best way possible! This is my favorite song of all time!!!

This song (along with Falling Down) was the first one that led me to rediscover something I'd lost: spirit, heart, dedication and devotion to music. Then, Falling Down was the first song that really managed to open my eyes. I got enlightened. It's a bitter relief to figure out, in such a short time, what was the cause of my pain after 12 years down the drain. I cried like I never did before, with joy and suffering. Now I hope nothing can stop me, not even myself. Thank you Muse and thank you Music. Greetings from a long-time italian fan ❤️ (funny thing: I had already listened to these songs a hundred thousand times before, but we all know that it's never the same and for some reason, just out of the blue, sometimes a song can unlock a memory that seemed buried and dormant)

I always listen to it at my deepest and darkest times. I cry my heart out and then I feel my soul revive. It's the song I'd ask my maker to reignite my soul. As well as help to find us all. No need to leave anyone behind.

When I was young I couldn’t understand my parents who always said that they didn’t get the new music coming out those days. They always listened to old songs that came out when they were young. Now I understand them. Even though I still like some of the new songs released nowadays, but they don’t tend to last long in my heart. I keep coming back to these songs. Songs I listened to when I was young. I think they will last forever and I will love them forever till the day I die.
