That chicken coop in the beginning in the water was from my ship earlier in the final beta, that is insane haha, i have footage of our ship getting destroyed from another and the only thing left was that chicken coop in the exact same spot on the exact same island. Well, my first (and only chicken mission) was to find a golden and red chicken, and the gold chicken was worth 1k gold and I went from rank 1 straight to rank 4 with the merchant, so yeah, chicken quests can be worth the time

Me neither. I think the game is perfect for Muselk, Tyrodin, Cray and Bazza, so much room for shenanigans. I enjoy watching the videos, b/c I'll never be able to play this game, due to 1) fear of sharks and any underwater stuff in games in general, so I avoid such games, 2) lack of friends I could play it with, 3) I'm not sure SoT will even be for PC when it launches?? Is it just for consoles?

There is an actual Shark Island, it used to be an island but (due to the building of a bridge at one end and sand accumulating( it's now a peninsula on the Skeleton Coast of Namibia (S-W Africa), near the city of Lüderitz. Something that I've noticed whenever you're manning the 2-man ship and taking in water is how you go all the way up to the main deck just to dump the water back out to sea when you could just dump the water out from a window a few steps away from the bottom level. Standing on the steps facing down the bottom level, you scoop the water up, turn around, walk like 2 maybe 3 steps forward, face left, then dump the water out the window.

The best place to go to find animals would be shipwreck bay. There are many animals there, but it is a respawn point for ships. So be on the lookout for enemy ships on your way there.
