Real Russia

Күн бұрын

The Museum with about 40 authentic USSR/Russia arcade machines which were released in 1980's-90's. Most of them are still working and available for visitors to play the games.
There is also the Soviet soda water machines for pear and apple soda water.
Interesting exposition of the spirits called "What Did Soviet Childhood Smells Like".
Atmospheric themed place for Russians to recall the Soviet childhood, for foreigners to get to know and touch the history of the USSR arcade games.

Nostalgia is good but other peoples nostalgia is massively entertaining too! It's interesting to see what Soviet era machines were like and were/are very similar to Western games regardless of what Cold War propaganda said about Soviet nation citizens.

Zerin Zinia - Cold War propaganda spread by warmongers, politicians and other scumbags had citizens on all sides believing lies about the other side when none of it was true. People were manipulated into hating the other side yet people with common sense always asked 'Why should we hate someone we don't know!?' and 'Why would we wish for war, when it would likely kill us all!?'

What a cool place - the first thing to catch my eye when you walked in was the photo booth, which was endless sources of amusement when growing up. I also used to play the submarine game we had here, which looks identical. Everything is so primitive to what kids can play today (or just technology in general) but as you've indicated we seemed to have way more fun with it.

I've spent many hours following you on KZbin, to learn as much as possible about your country, its customs and traditions. I can't thank you enough for all of the entertainment you provide, all while sharing your country's rich history and culture. I feel like I've known you forever, lol. You have an incredible spirit, and a great sense of humor! God bless you- and your family. Also, you have a friend in Buffalo,NY who would open his home to you- and welcome you to stay anytime. The Soviet childhood was similar to the American childhood. I chewed tar from the roads also. My mother would brush my teeth with Acetone to remove it. I remember the mechanical arcade games also. Later video games were popular, but they cost too much money to own. A desired possession for kids during my time was a bicycle, I would dream about owning a BMX bicycle.
