I am from Ft Worth, but worked in CT for many years on the New Haven Line. I handed up orders to that GG-1 many times as an operator in Bridgeport CT....I visited the Dallas St Fair in 1992, and I was surprised to the the GG-1 sitting there...

The museum website says the caboose was donated in 1966, serving a good 40 or so years on the rails. However, it's unclear if the caboose was active in 1965 or 1966.
