Looking at this again, it's still crazy to think that they were JUST talking about the 7 strongest... and then meet one of them seconds after. Also spoilers but: Not only does Rudy eventually JOIN Orsted's side, but Rudy also ends up becoming one of the 7 strongest at some point.

still think this scene is written too deliberately, rudeus know man god is not 100% good, his foresight eye can't see orsted movement showing he is very strong and they may not be able to match, even his teammate tell him not to do anything, and still he chose to ask and get attention, then answer the question about man god without think of any consequences, to me it felt like he suddenly turn stupid

​@@Rubedo0725 he's not affected by the curse doesn't mean he doesn't know orsted is strong, the point is although rudeus dont have any information about orsted and all his teammates seem nervous about him, he still doesnt think that orsted might be a threat and act too casually

I believe Orsted was very friendly in the novel. Thats just what Ive heard because I started reading the novel where the anime left off so idk. I can say for sure that in the novel it's so much easier to put "Eris POV" and "Rudeus POV" and explain how each of them understand and see the situation while all of hem have their own internal monologues. Versus the show where you always have to be in a narrator like point of view, and youre also only limited to showing Rudeus internal monologue.

@@usurpererenyeager649 I don't really get your point, I'm talking about the anime, what the anime show is rudeus pov, and all we see is that from his perspective is although orsted might be a dangerous enemy, rudeus didnt have any precautions against him, and his underestimation cause their defeat, especially when he just get trapped because of underestimating the situation in shirone kingdom. Therefore this scene makes rudeus looks dumb, and his teammates pov has nothing to do with it. If orsted was very friendly in the novel, it is their problem not making it into the anime.
