Husband and I have watched hundreds of hours of videos on mycology... You are THE BEST! You're the only one I've found that really explains the principles behind the process. Others are ok but I want to truly understand why I am doing what I'm doing. And not just blindly following steps bc "that's just how you do it." Thanks so much for actually TEACHING and not just giving supply lists and instructions!!! AWESOME!

Hours and hours of research and videos to learn how to properly grow without expensive start up equipment. I found this after my first flush but man you just crammed a lot of information into an easy to consume video. Thank you.

i just started growing about a month ago. i have a 10x10 tent with ac/and 4 6" fans for air exchange. C02 system and humidifier, using luxx clone leds for lighting. nothing better than cannabis and shrooms. may i recommend ac infinity tents. better material and thicker poles, less likely to leak air.

Once the shiitake is in the tub is it necessary to have the tub outdoors to get fresh air exchange??

When I'm first putting the colonized grain into the substrate and both in the tub, isn't it good to have a high CO2 content? I read in the cultivator that the high CO2 content is good for the mycelium to fully colonize the substrate. Then increase the free air exchange once you're ready to induce the pin set and fruiting. Is this true? Can you shed some light on this please?
@VeronicaCastro-ru8nm2 жыл бұрын
You are absolutely correct. He has no light to shed he is wasting a lot of new growers time and money not to mention the frustration.

Here my current cycle with monotubes: over a month of total white bread. 0 pins. Brown dots building on the surface (probably my tears at this point). I shake everytime I open the lid to give it air and moisture the walls of the box ;(

So I am using a monotub, and I just went into fruting conditions. Im using a 6500k led light. How far away from the tub does it need to be, or are there signs in my grow tub to look for and adjust as needed? I just don't want to burn up my substrate. I get it if you don't have time to answer. I just thought I would throw a hail mary out here to see everyone's input

I'm not sure if I have ever seen more misinformation all in one video before. This is difficult enough for brand new people without other brand new people giving out guesses as facts. Just one of many, pins do not in fact "generate" in a high CO2 environment in fact the opposite, fresh air< lets the mycelium know it has reached out of the ground and is safe to produce spores. I know you're having fun on your channel and more power to you but maybe gather some experience before sharing your wisdom with brand new growers. They cannot tell you don't know what you are doing.
