These savory mushroom dumplings are filled with a mix of mushrooms, peanuts, and spices, wrapped in a delicate dough, and steamed to perfection. Serve them with a tangy soy-based dipping sauce for an irresistible appetizer or snack.
Ingredients:
For the Dough:
½ cup - Wheat Starch
½ cup - Potato Starch
250 ml - Water
Salt (as per taste)
1 tbsp - Water
1 tsp - Oil
For the Filling:
2 tbsp - Garlic (chopped)
10-12 - Button Mushrooms (chopped)
1 tbsp - Peanuts (chopped)
1 tsp - Red Chilli Flakes
1½ tsp - Light Soy Sauce
1 tsp - Rice Vinegar
1 tbsp - Red Chilli Sauce
Salt (as per taste)
Black Pepper Powder (as per taste)
For the Sauce:
3 tbsp - Light Soy Sauce
1 tsp - Rice Vinegar
½ tsp - Chilli Flakes
2 tbsp - Garlic (chopped)
1 tbsp - Red Chilli Sauce
2 tbsp - Water
For Assembly:
Cornstarch (for dusting)
Oil (as required)
Banana Leaf (for lining)
