Instructions
1. In a large kadai heat oil and saute bay leaf, cumin seeds, cinnamon stick.also add onions, curry leaves, green chilies ginger garlic paste and saute till they turn slightly golden brown.
2. add tomato puree and saute till oil separates from sides.
add turmeric powder, garam masala powder, red chili powder and salt.
3. saute on low flame for a minute or till masalas are cooked well.
add sliced mushrooms and mix gently.cover and simmer for 5 minutes, or till mushrooms sweat.
4.add 1 cup of water and mix well. cover and simmer for 15 minutes, or till mushrooms cook completely. add coriander leaves mix well.
5. Our mushroom gravy is ready to serve with rice or roti.
