The doom parts look really good

It honestly does. It was well made visually.

Samus certainly has the fitting arsenal to take down a cyberdemon. ^^

Yup! I'd love to see a prime/doom(2016) style crossover game. But that's WAY harder to make.

The crawly guys are Corpse Demons from Demon's Crest. The Firey Eyeballs... they're original according to the Wiki. Brimstone Factory's Tileset is modified from the beginning Science Center you start in in Super Metroid. MKF uses a lot of sprites as-is (thanks in large part to Spriter's Resource, which actually used to host the old MKF Forum), modifies a lot of sprites and requires creating sprites from scratch. MKF is developed in GameMaker v8, and runs on a Super Mario Bros 3/Super Mario Advanced 4 emulated engine (created by Hello), so all Enemies (effectively) have to be converted over to "Mario" effectively (with some other touches, like how they respond to spindashes, the inclusion of guns and other features). So even if we have the sprites, they still need scripted, so it's never just as easy as plopping them from some other game as you make clear :) Oh, and I would be careful to write-off less-known retro titles, you might be surprised to find them appear somewhere in MKF. This game started development in the Early 2000's afterall and a lot of Developers are on the older side like me ;)

Ah! Demon's Crest had some horrific foes then. Good on them! ^^ The firey Eyeballs are made just for this game then? Cool. ^^ Oh! That's cool about the Brimstone Factory's Tileset. ^^ I'm glad I got it right. There is so much love and coding put into making MKF that it is hard to think of it as a, "Slapdash effort" or something you all just tossed together and I wanted to voice that given how little I've gotten into game coding in Unity (before it shot itself in the foot), has taught me. Oh! That's a great tip for me to keep my eyes open for those "lesser known" retro titles and their influences. ^^ I'm not a master class of knowing or picking out things from games, but I do know when I've seen something before... sometimes. XD

I was waiting for you to use a stomper character on 4-6 because that's a rare one that Samus is genuinely bad for. 4-8 was one of my least favorite stages... Too much tiny moving platforms... Theres like a random spot in 4-8 where you can go through a wall... Whenever you can tell theres something you cant get to try looking for those.

Oh, 4-8's got one of those weird small gaps or invis walls? Ugh, good to know. 4-6... I am a pretty stubborn person. XD
