@@afusake AWESOME. I actually did buy a pair of them 908s back in April and I've been hitting the skatepark about once a week. I also built a p rail and I've learned way more grinds than I was ever able to do back in the day. Skating again was one of the best decisions I've made in a long time. Lol so ya quick update. It's cool to see so many other people start to skate or blading again and being supportive. Just have fun homie because it really is a lot of fun.

@@Nobody-gm3xq i always take a break over winter, but this year ive never seen so many people either picking it up again, or learning. its great to see. i just set up a pair of valo sk2s with kaltik freestyle 2 frames and 72mm wheels. huge difference from my SSMs and kaltik 1 flat frames with 60mm wheels. joey and todd both inspired me to keep blading, even when everyone else stopped, amazing how they and this channel has evolved and how theyre inspiring even more people. well done lads. xo

- Kamloops man cuts God while inline skating.- Area sources report that the Kamloops man was using a system of 'wizard blades' and wheels fixed to his feet with specialized boots. "I'm totally fine," Said the popular deity. "I was surprised that someone experimenting with physics in a dance with no music (but faithful that the music would be added to their dance at a later date,) was able to slice an infinitely narrow part of their wizard blade into the metaphysical realm. A 3.14mm section of their blade was perfectly sharpened during a grind, which is a yoga pose held at speed while balancing on a steel tube. While watching my followers read Trump tweets, I thought to myself 'All this lying has to stop!' At that moment, a series of steps was executed with the Wizard blade which allowed the sharpened section of the blade to briefly cross into the metaphysical realm right where I was standing. The cut really stung, but I wasn't offended. I haven't felt this alive since I was cut by a Russian ice skater on a frozen lake east of Moscow in 1963." For the full article see the full article in the Kamloops star, March 14, 2019, page 7.

As a kid who came up skating aggressive in the 90's and early 00's before the crew got gigs and split, inline had a way of laying bare my anxieties and presented them in discrete, possibly conquerable increments. I adored the grave athleticism of the big names. And with all this I felt an angst like only a teen can feel. There was almost no respect at large for the less dangerous, but equally technical and well-practiced minutia of footwork in carving and the countless ways to roll. Like I was so proud of how long I could heel roll! With the advent of wizard skating, and the internet's way of exposing a skater to every possible genre and their tutorials, I simply couldn't be more grateful for how the pastime and the industry surrounding it has matured. I was initially gonna comment "there's no simple way to express how much I appreciate the tone of this video", but to hell with it. It's worthy of a complicated thanks. I deeply appreciate you guys doing what you do. [Showcasing subtle technicality and the simple obvious fun and joy of being on skates. That epic Brain Fear Gone sorta shit was so intense and sobering in the blatant danger of so many of the tricks.] I get home eager to change into skates these days and hot damn it feels good to be back.
