I Was making Pizzas in Ybor City Tampa across the street from Masquerade. Mushroomhead was playing later that evening and I was getting out early to watch one of my favorite bands at that time. Not five minutes later Jeffrey Nothing walks in with his wife and little daughter. I ended up making them a pizza, serving the pizza and getting balcony seats for the show that night. He was amazing I sat with them for about ten minutes and he telling me about his upcoming album. I can go on and on but i will finish by saying I had a GREAT time and I will never forget thier music and Jeffrey for being so cool.

I dunno man. Some of their early lyrics were pretty corny. " If it were up to me I'd free Charles Manson " ? I'm not up to date on them, I dig them and all.. Just saying.
@oscarsalgado33844 жыл бұрын
@@arsonne Yeah, I guess you can read the lyrics that way. I feel 'Bwomp' is a good description of a mad world, and screaming 'Free Charles Manson' clearly fits the purpose of the track. Sometimes JMann brings up a lot of subject on the duality, by bringing up pop-culture references of H.Solo, but yeah. But I'm talking about the bigger picture. Songs like The Wrist, Solitaire Unraveling and many of them have great, just simply great lyrics. Many of them usually don't have a single swear word in them, which is kinda surprising for a metal band. But yeah, it's all about appreciation. Actually, English is still a foreign language to me, so you, as a native speaker, and your appreciation about it, must also be equally right.
@ThirteenAmp4 жыл бұрын

@@ThirteenAmp No need to overcomplicate the emotions they're trying to express. It may seem corny but because the song has that straight fuck you sound, and it's aggressive, it fits contextually. You aren't thinking of sophiscated things to say when you are pissed off, you're just angry
