Wonderful information. We need more of the mycoverse being discussed and followed up on. It is amazing and helps get us away from big pharma and other corporations "playing the game".

I loved your video, I pick wild mushrooms, and I love and eat them regularly, your video showed me the need for them, I have written and set pictures to our environment minister requesting them not to cut down a forested area, around a beautiful marsh..I sent photo of the mushrooms the Eco system...that not only to protect the marsh but everything.. About this area..the logging industry is very tough to fight if you don't have a govt that seems to care,.. I live on Vancouver Island B.c. Canada... A lot of local really try..to solve this demand for lumber that is being sent mostly to China...well if you want to have a read..it's Called Hamilton Marsh beautiful area...tons of mushrooms out here.. I pick ten edibles..love them fresh, dried or cooked,, your video was very impressive..loved it and hope you keep at your passion and fine work.. I totally see ..I have a garden and I let it grow not in rows but spread in a mix.. I found my garden was producing more and thrived so good..everything you said was awsome..Nov 27, 2015

I wonder if, or rather when Cordyceps will move up from insects to mammals. I've heard that each variety of Cordyceps specializes in its on favorite specie of host, and that the more populous a species becomes, the more likely a Cordyceps will come along to infect it. Do you think a Cordyceps will come along for the 7+ billion homo-sapiens? If not, why not?

At 23, you say something that I, as a neophyte, take issue with, in that you call 'polypores' a "hard-gilled" mushroom. That confuses me. BTW, as an Ashvilleite, do you know of the Old Farmer's Ball at Warren Wilson?

I'm not at all keen on the new fangled idea of introducing agitants and microbial contaminants to fungal treatments , to get it to overproduce or put out new mutations of itself... that seems rather dangerous ground.

Why do you say this? Can you provide specific information? Please/Ty.

Simply put your mushrooms picked or buyed in the sun for one hour, Then they produce D vitamin by themselfs.

really enjoyed your video...just a note, we in Central Europe have deadly mushrooms, about 20 people die each year. Avoid red and orange in general.

Please stop saying things like "every mushroom is edible for 30 minutes" YOU know very well that the most poisonous/deadly mushrooms have no symptoms for 12+ hours. Same mushrooms is edible more than once, they taste fine and a person could have it for breakfast lunch and dinner before they started puking. It is sad to hear experts saying such silly things. Please stop.
