Gratitude is the proper attitude. There are many allies patiently waiting to to be greeted and addressed with the proper respect so they can offer their support and assistance that they would like to offer. They are benevolent in nature but are bound by rules and traditions which have been formed through the millenia, just as we are. What must be done is to conduct oneself properly, like this man has done. It is the key in the lock. Bless you my friend.

Hey Joleah! Beautiful name btw! A big hello from Cornwall, England! My family and I foraged an abundance of gorgeous Turkey Tail from a beautiful dead fall tree in Tehidy Country Park yesterday evening. Both my wife (49) and daughter (25) suffer with autoimmune disease, so it is my deepest desire to bring them both some natural love and healing from these incredible mushrooms. Just hoped you would be so kind to give an update on yours and your brother's experience with Turkey Tail? Sending love, light, and positivity to you and yours. 😇🍄🤍

Hi there! What a gift to find an abundance of this medicine! My brother has chosen to follow his doctors instructions...to be honest I never tried to push anything on him, it’s such a delicate thing... I know if he wants to find alternative treatments he will start his journey towards that and I may or may not be a person he goes to for that! I feel the best I can do is Love him for who he is and put no pressure on him. As for me, i have made 50/50 tincture that I take once in a while when I feel compelled to. My journey with autoimmune disease has been a lot about healing on all levels, once I started that part I have felt increasingly lighter and more able to deal with ebbs and flows of physical health! Peace!☮️✨

Cut up as small as possible and if can give it a blitz in a herb grinder or cleaned coffee grinder. Simmer in filtered water for 5-6 hours. Squeeze out excess water and retain, place solids in a glass jar and combine with at least double the volume of good quality 50% alcohol vodka. Shake daily for a few weeks up to a month or so (the finer the solids the shorter the time). Filter out alcohol extraction and combine with water extraction.
@chuckkady72824 жыл бұрын
@@HawaiiLimey Can you get a lot of benefits from simmering for a couple hrs without the alcohol extraction? /// #2 What if after you simmer the pieces for a couple hrs and dry out the simmered pieces and then place in a coffee grinder until a powder and use it for a tea? // #3 can you over dose by drinking too much? :o) /// #4 I have heart disease. Emphysema and kidney disease. I'm 76 which means most Dr's could care less unless I'm rich! Thanks for your consideration HawaiiLimey :o)
@HawaiiLimey4 жыл бұрын
@@chuckkady7282 yes you could do all of the above but the extraction process is to draw as many beneficial compounds out of the mushroom as possible. Turkey tail will help with your conditions but if you would like better health you need to change/modify your diet. Your conditions are all related to very weak epithelial and endothelial cells. These line your external passageways (sinuses, lungs, mouth to anus) and the lining of the vascular system. To improve their integrity you need to eat foods high in phosphatydlcholine. Salmon roe tops the list followed by wild salmon, sardines (with skin and bones), beef tallow, bone broth, organic grass fed beef liver, farm eggs from chickens that scratch for bugs. Ideally cut out all vegetable oils and instead use olive oil, avocado oil, coconut oil and grassfed butter (you ideally want to an omega 6 to 3 ratio of 3:1 or better i.e. 2:1, 1:1). You need to reduce inflammation in your body this means cutting out sugar, alcohol, smoking, processed foods and possibly grains. Ideally you should be eating home cooked whole foods with lots of organic vegetables. Minimise carbs in the evening and don't eat less than 3 hours before bed. Eating within a narrow time window 8 - 12 hours has a multitude of benefits to improve health (known as intermittent fasting). Also do not snack between meals as this increases inflammation. Given your age you probably have weak stomach acid so supplementing with betaine HCL with pepsin (start low and increase until you feel good) will help with digestion. Also taking digestive enzymes amylase, protease and lipase will help break down fats and proteins to aid in absorption. Ubiquinol and PQQ are very good for heart disease and massively improve antioxidants as well as energy. Berberine helps tone your arteries. You need to make sure that you're still exercising even if it's just a daily walk or an exercise class at the local swimming pool a few times a week. A K2 mk7 with D3 supplement can help reduce arterial blockages and improve bone density. There are many natural plants that have many similar benefits to what I have listed but to aid the liver and kidneys consider stinging nettles/root and dandelion/root, these can be harvested from the wild as long as they're away from traffic or potentially dog pee, chop them up and infuse for a tea. Doctors on KZbin to follow are Dr. Berg and Dr. Ford Brewer. The biggest impact you can make is usually what you are cutting out which is leading to the inflammation. Enemy No.1 is sugar in all its forms, artificial sugars still elicit an insulin response so trigger inflammation and clog up the liver. The one exception is stevia which is not harmful. Hope this helps, Aloha.

@@chuckkady7282 for sure, I mainly grow a few medicinals in my garden and make a few extracts from herbs that you can buy online. GERDS can be caused H.Pylori and potentially other pathogenic bacteria. Bacteria modify their terrain in order to gain more favourable conditions to multiply. In the case of H.Pylori the bacteria lower the stomach's acidity to reduce digestion of the food in order that they can colonize it. The stomach then increases acid production to try and counter it. I have had success using black seed oil which is known to combat H.Pylori. I can help you out with what I know but I'm by no means an expert. My email is philhensondesign@hotmail.com

I love how easily & effortlessly you explain that vast amount of information. Love your videos. Very informative & the way you treat plants comes through beautifully. The respect & love. It's a great way to share information & show people that it's not all about take, take take. So for this I'm very grateful to you ♥ I'm here because I needed guidance with how to harvest it mainly. Your video was the very first I found on the subject. I knew I was in the right place :)Turkey Tail is my new friend who's been around me in the last couple of years, trying to draw attention to itself. I heard the "message", but I didn't do much... the lazy one, you know... I work with herbs, but don't have experience with mushrooms at all. I found it very intriguing to try to get to know this beautiful creature, & I even said it to someone not too long ago, that I have to try growing it this year. I don't know a place where it grows around. But last year somehow it's got out of sight. No one mentioned it & I didn't bump into any articles that wrote about it really. Not like the year before when it was coming into my face everywhere. And this year again, it started appearing to me here & there. And what's happened today??! There is an old, hollow tree trunk at the edge of the house. Cut out completely, no roots. Sometimes I use it as a container for plants in season. I just love it. But it hasn't been in my sight for a while. So I couldn't believe what I saw growing on it! Lots of beautiful, healthy Turkey tail! ♥ I went to identify it just to make sure that that's the right thing. I could dance from the happiness that it was! :D I just feel so grateful. Lately I was doing a liver detox. Maybe that's why it has shown up for me now so obviously. So this story shows us that Spirit, plants, our True selves or whatever you feel comfortable to call it, does communicate with us, & guides us in every minute. It was trying to draw attention to itself, I didn't listen enough. It's got forgotten & has come back to me. In the end it actually literally appeared at my doorstep! This IS true magic🌟 Thank you for BEing the part of it ♥ Blessings on your way ♥

As an FNMI person, I could be offended or suspicious, but I actually love how you respect the plant & fungus medicine with Smudge. Normally I wouldn't burn smudge or tobacco for a plant, my smudge is usually sage where I live, & we crumple up tobacco at the base of the plant, but whatever indigenous person you learned this from, I'd say trust them more than me because they are actually present & my nation is probably different. I think it's great that you are respecting the world in a way that is (at least similar to the practices that are) familiar to the land you live on.

Hi Yarrow, love your videos and the knowledge you share. I have found so much turkey tail this year! I’m doing my own extraction but only have access to vodka, which doesn’t have 120 proof. Will it work well enough? Should I keep it soaked for longer? What else would you advise. Thank you for your time 😊
