If you ever get a chance, would love to see how you clean those lobsters for drying or sale or cooking. Wherever they end up!

I found a patch of a hillside loaded with lobster mushroom’s yesterday in the Appalachian mtns . I’m hoping it produces every year . I find host mushroom all over that area but only in this one section lobsters and everyone was lobster .
@mushroomsforagingadventures Жыл бұрын
@boxingstar...It should produce and the only way to know is to go back every year.. I would mark down the date too, you know when they should be up. Hope that's helpful. 😃 😊

@@mushroomsforagingadventures Thank you exactly what I figured the chanterelles are always like that and chicken of the woods for me. Figured they would be as well. Chanterelle spot is now full of hedgehogs in exact same spot the chanterelles were in July and august .
@mushroomsforagingadventures Жыл бұрын
@boxingstarcmbballer8797 Lots of hedgehogs grow where chantrelles grow. I notice that too in my chantrelle patches.

Are there many poisonous mushrooms we should watch out for?
@mushroomsforagingadventures Жыл бұрын
Yes, there's lots to watch out for. I'm still learning about all the different kinds of mushrooms. I watch a lot of Facinated by fungi channel. You can learn lots from his channel. 😃

what are you doing with the mushrooms you found, did you see them, or for consumption?

I sell to a mushroom buyer that buys for a company. I am considering selling direct to the public. I will have to wait and see. 😃 😊

Did you pick up that piece of trash?
@mushroomsforagingadventures Жыл бұрын
I can't pick up every trash I see in the forest. Wouldn't have time to pick. While foraging in Alaska, we did take a whole day off to pick up trash from the forest. Manage to collect 4 garbage bags full. I also make it a habit of picking up trash where I park, so I don't get blamed for it. 😃
