I agree with Herry on the Rodrygo shout for Breakthrough player of 2023. He has been so important for Madrid upfront in the absence of VIni and helping Madrid stay afloat the top of Laliga along with Girona who are looking like legit contenders for the title. Rodrygo's all round game has always been incredible, he clearly enjoys playing from the left hand side because his recent form has been from that side of the pitch but what I like about Rodrygo is the fact that despite having played out of his favorable position for most of his time in Madrid due to Vini's presence, he always puts in a good shift for the team and always causes a constant threat. His finishing is getting better and better every season the amount of top bin goals he scores is quite alarming and he does it with so much ease the man has ice on his veins, I believe he is only going to get more better from now ON, Madrid have a gem in their hands with Rodrygo.

Musiala is a super talent. But he doesn't give me "star energy". I love seeing humble players, but to be up there, you do need to have a bit of arrogance about you, not too much but just a bit. I look at Jude, and he just knows he's "that guy". Then when you look at the best players, Messi, Ronaldo, Henry, Zidane, etc all had that bit of arrogance. In other words I'd like him to think like he's the main guy because in terms of pure talent he might be top 3 within the New Generation.

I haven't been too impressed by Musiala from what I've seen. I don't follow Bayern too closely but I've seen several games of his for both Bayern and Germany, and he never really does it for me. It's clear he's got some ability, but very often his decision-making isn't very good. He also lacks the physicality and maturity to be one of the best. I know he's still young, but I haven't been wowed like other people seem to have been.
