This was my primary thought as well. You could also use both machines at once to do more complex peices. That both machines can play multiple notes at once already means all this would be trivial. I hope this channel makes another song or two.

Actually I am preparing for Christmas a little bit and more Lego wise. I'm a fellow adult fan of Lego! Yesterday I was actually making a few Lego Christmas ornaments for the family. That sure looks like green rain with a holly berry or something somewhere to this in Lego. Those small leaves that were originally included in the Sportsman's sets if people remember what he's look like would be the best way to describe the part. And add one or two one by one round plate / stud in red rinse and repeat! Only problem is since I'm doing a large Christmas project at this time had to reserve the rest of my red one by plates for this! That was a limiting factor on how many I could make for the Christmas tree for my folks place! Also word of advice if you're looking to make Christmas ornaments from scratch Will Repair others or something like the above project and wanting to do the proper types of strings for the ornaments though to the Dollar Tree and get packs of weather certain Christmas bells the strings are not tied on to the Bell they're just in the the packages of the Bells you got your proper strings for wonderment repairs or homemade ornaments readily plus some extra Christmas bells for other projects! And yes I tied with those strings on each one of the like a ornaments I know it's not kosher to a purist I'll get flag for this I know perhaps??
@aaronbrandenburg2441
@aaronbrandenburg2441 Жыл бұрын
Continuing the Christmas project not the ornaments but the other the banquet probably the biggest project I've ever done of this sort of thing! Includes a Lego 9 volt Christmas train kind of a generic diesel train one passenger car caboose diesel locomotive and one cargo car. This is roughly designed around the original 4.5 volt train I had as a kid it was the one with the blue battery box car and it's in a boxcar Carter car looking car with the door sticker on the besides specifically the blue and gray and one one with the red Wheels! I did a slightly modernize version of the locomotive using modern parts unfortunately it did not have some enough of some of the original parts or others I had from other sets in my collection just shy in some cases of exactly what part! But I found the modern Grill profile pieces work great for this in substituting for the original shutters that were used on the locomotive! As well as liberal use of more modern parts that were not available back in the day. Few more girl pieces here and there and a few more of the grill parts the 1x2 tiles with the grill appearance! The headlights are illuminated all four of them on the front with the Lego Power functions LED lights! Using the 9 volt system lights in other cases there as well including one turn to the proper polarity as to flash for the roof beacon on the locomotive. For interior illumination of the locomotive using one of the right angle 9 volt lighting bricks as well. Nearly all of the wiring is not visible. Of course had to make some changes to proportion and construction to allow for this as well. In the caboose there is the flashing light on the rear of the Caboose and also another roof flasher however this time this is provided by the 9 volt micro motor and the Lego fiber optic components. As for giving the fiber optic up to the roof Beacon using the pieces with grooves what I refer to as garage door parts since the original use of this! Not only that in the Caboose as well there is two rear-facing up top tail lights which are illuminated via the 9 volt fiber optic system fibers themselves through headlight bricks at the 4 mm end. These are rounded to where the interior illumination of the cruise is which is a power functions LED! Just one of the two LEDs for this the other one is facing upward through another part which illuminates a little desk light made up of a 1x1 cylinder and two transparent clear one by one round plates stacked on top of this one of the same bricks but in a solid color. This worked out really well. By the way a lot of racial parts from the old 4.5 4.5 is to have years ago and also from the metroliner. The car that when someone imitate the battery box in appearance sort of. The doors are from the cargo car of the metroliner or baggage car if you prefer! The only known Lego Parts in the train itself are to light bulbs that were extracted from Old Radio Shack light ropes years ago for projects such as this and other Illumination in my Lego creations! The question one might have is how to connect that to enable system and power functions system!! It's possible to do this without any modifications to any Lego bricks all you have to do is basically strip The Wire and use any Lego plate or brick to sandwich those wires against the underside of the 9 volt Lego plates to make an electrical connection!. I'm by the way I'm not 100% like a purist however I try to do 100% like a rare feasible and possible as you probably could guess there are times when it could get expensive both in terms of Parts you have available getting into your inventory when you need them for elsewhere and also the availability of certain parts that are no longer made! I will allow myself to go outside box pun intended of Lego under certain circumstances! And yeah I know I'm going to get he double hockey stick for this! I have here and there modified Bricks Built custom parts but very few and far between! As most people may know 9 volt system components are very scarce these days unless you're able to obtain that was used or have enough in your own inventory of parts of course! That's where you need to think of the box if you're with some one that would allowed us to happen when building with Lego. As I mentioned try to be a purist where feasible however not afraid to think outside the rules! Plus being a mechanical hobbyist into Electronics much more essentially a maker! Working on a modular system to be able to buy Power for models and essentially be able to do almost anything electrical or Electronics with things like this as well this is like out of of all the third party Lego stuff such as light my bricks and many others but I'll be able to be modular and work together. And using all off the shelf components as far as possible and yet compatibility with as many other things out there as possible everything from lighting from Department 56 and others even right down to what would work with third party Lighting systems. And then some even outside of this and future capabilities from the start! This will start out as for my own use if this word ever get to the point that be viable open source that puppy! Also a lot of this could be adapted for other obvious as well everything from robotics different types of models even model trains you name it! Right down even now even using lighting design for dollhouses you know those miniature incandescent bulbs and the wiring that's so tiny you can easily run some of it even between bricks and not have any problems with the construction! Years ago I found out that the Dickens Village accessories especially lamp posts were actually a good fit for Lego scenes. Over the years I've noticed that I'm not the only one that is noticed this! I've seen many a Christmas Village sort of thing with both Lego and other stuff intermixed but yet in harmony. Online and otherwise in person as well don't be afraid to do something different don't be afraid to go outside the box to each is ohne! !

Also specifically regarding this video and playing music with Lego it's possible to do this it limited way of 100% Lego AKA bypassing using the toys xylophone# Let's just call them chime bars! Can be made from various Lego elements and adjusted and waited in various ways using just normal Lego parts basically just tuning to an approximate note then striking this with some sort of like a mallet and mechanism you can produce sound you're being more difficult and Persnickety and require a lot of work but it can be done! I know people out there have produced like a clock that keep really accurate time if you were to do a clock like this combine that with the above and do a mechanism somewhere to individual or just a chain you like that and just Technic pins in beans or another similar idea button of course 100% Lego means. Have this setup in a little chain or even a drum such as the one at the beginning of the video or another way of doing something similar! You could easily build a striking clock that could play Westminster quarters it wouldn't take much to add some parts to a 100% like a clock to be able to activate the mechanism. As most people know that are serious into the hobby Lego did produce various types of wind up Motors even the ones that were intended for Lego base models are easy enough to use with technic creations. Besides just add a one-way clutch mechanism if you're building the clocks you would probably already be aware of how to do this really. And this could easily be your power source for any sort of clock add-on mechanism. I once designed and built a Lego cuckoo clock that actually did cuckoo on the hour complete with the sound. It was exactly super accurate but then again with the parts I had back in the time it was more of a concept than an accurate clock. Of course at that time was only able to do hour and minute hand only although there are building techniques that aren't exactly probably kosher or anything possibly or maybe not take your pic! To be able to do a second hand as well on some clocks if so desired! But back to the Lego cuckoo clock the interesting thing is I figured out how to do the actual cuckoo sound yet keep it 100% Lego parts! I wound up using the Lego pneumatic system specifically the old valve block that acted as two separate check valves with three ports in 2x4 brick. If anyone remembers how they used to use both pressure and vacuum on the original Lego pneumatics and had the single hose / tube going to the pneumatic cylinders and pump the numeric cylinder with a spring on it that is. That pneumatic valve brick made distinctive squeaking noise when in your switch became the sound for the cuckoo using any numeric cylinder just push back and forth if the motion of the cuckoo in the clock thus producing the sound of the cuckoo in the clock.
