@@DrumRollTonyReacts I don't know if anybody pointed out a quick move he did that you missed. During the solo part he tapped on the cymbal nuts with each stick. I think you had your head down from the part immediately preceding. The precision was crazy. around 13:20 - 13:25 mark.

Look for Larnell penciling a drum solo on the spot. He literally writes out a drum solo while hearing the music for the first time and hits it on the nose. When you get your degree in music, it's another level of playing. Hence, Dirty Loops is ridiculous because they have degrees in music and composition. I have a BM and I did my graduate work at The Juilliard School. My classmate was world renown bassist Christian Mcbride.

And on the Yamaha , Drumeo channels as well. And then when your ready to be amazed. You can check out another child prodigy. Yoyoka Soma. As a non-musician (mostly) who just listens deeply and has some past music experience and some random theory, I feel like I can geek out on music like this pretty similarly to a musician. I might not know the words to talk about what I'm hearing properly, and I certainly miss the deeper stuff, but when something like that big metric modulation in the solo hits, I get it. I instinctively feel what he's doing even if I don't have the music experience to fully appreciate the details. I absolutely love his cymbal work. He's able to create so many different textures thanks to having an hell of a setup here, and the intricate rhythms he'd stick in here and there (like the 5s, or other neat patterns). This stuff is beyond the sort of thing I can visualize in terms of rhythm games lol. This is the kind of thing I'd need to go over like 1 second at a time, over and over, for months if I were to try to transcribe/chart it in a game. And that would only roughly transcribe some small bit of what's actually going on due to the limited number of inputs you can press in rhythm games.

Amazing reaction my friend Tony!!...I have seen your reactions to Dimash, the best male singer of the world (In my personal opinion)...Now I want to invite you to meet, who is considered one of the Best Female Singers of the World (The best in my personal opinion)...The passion and dedication when Dimash is performing a song can only be compared with the person who has influenced him to sing leaving everything on stage: His idol, the queen, the incomparable, the Goddess: Lara Fabian.....Lara is the best female singer and performer of the world...She is a lyric soprano with a amazing vocal range and incredible breath control...She speaks and composes in 5 languages and sings in more than 15 languages....That's why she is the inspiration for Dimash and several singers around the world...You can see covers of her songs on KZbin made by singers of the stature of: Dimash, Diana Ankudinova, Forestella, Sissel Kyrkjebo, Floor Jansen, Diana Navarro, Morissette Amon, Gabriel Henrique, Katrina Velarde, Cakra Khan and others...Please react to her songs, all masterpieces, in LIVE versions, because Lara is more impressive when she sings live, so you can see why she is the idol of Dimash...Try to do it in this order and almost all songs are from the same Lara’s concert “From Lara With Love” in Montreal 1999, one of her best works: 1) Je Suis Malade (Singing in French)...2) Caruso (Singing in Italian)...3) Je T'AIME (2002 Live version in Paris Singing in French)...4) Perdere L'Amore (1999 Live version Singing in Italian)...5) Adagio (1999 Live version singing in english)...6) Broken Vow (1999 Live version singing in English)...7) You are Not From Here (1999 Live version singing in English)...8) Quédate (1999 Live version singing in Spanish)....9) Ti Amo Cosi (2019 Live version Singing a trío with Dimash and Aida Garifullina)....I hope to see you first reaction soon and if you don't mind, I'd like you to mention me as the person who recommended reacting to Lara...Here you have the link of her amazing performance of the son>g “Je Suis Malade”....kzbin.info/www/bejne/m3m2qp5qiKynq7s

Just Thanks man!! Your insight is spot on. next up for Jinjer " Judgement and Punishment" She did it in one take!! Then you have to give Twelve Foot Ninja a listen. There songs consist of how can I put this, I guess multi genre they combine Metal, Funk, Lounge, Caribbean and whatever and it works. the guitar player has a guitar that is modeling with no latency from a Strat to a Les Paul to a classical, tones from the dirtiest to the cleanest and so on and they do it perfect live. They will challenge your perfection I'm sure you will enjoy them. Oh did say there Aussies and they are nuts.. First up "Coming for you" it is a mix of, just give it a listen, then Luna, Deluge, Kingdom and the collaboration with Tatiana from Jinjer "Over and Out"

I'm double dipping on your reaction. Six months old video, so you may not even see this. Your comment at around 7:35, about restarting at a solo, is a very old concept. It's employed in all forms of music, even in classical music. It doesn't even have to be a solo. Often, but not always, when any music transitions from one section to another, this is employed. There are songs that are heavy from the first downbeat to the end of the track, and they obviously have their place. But it's nice to have the luxury of these types of transitions at your disposal. As with all musical arrangement choices, it's wise to use them tastefully. It's crazy to me when some musicians don't get that. What people understand and appreciate or don't, is a mystery to me. Like Arron Copeland, a great American composer said in his book, Copeland On Music, rings true. I paraphrase greatly here: Two people can sit side by side at an Orchestral performance, one will with the hair on their arms standing up and goosebumps on their skin while, the other is nonplussed. There's no way to explain that.
