Are you wondering why I said former ballerina? Or are you wondering what a former ballerina is? I said she was a "former ballerina" b/c she said so at the beginning of the video. And a "former ballerina" is someone who used to dance professionally but has retired or moved on to another career.

Not to be picky but the word that you want to use in regards to Elena Baliakhova is "accompaniment by"....She herself is an accompanist. But she provides accompaniment to your exercises. I am just a word-smith and fellow accompanist. People often mis-use the word. BEAUTIFUL dancing and GORGEOUS playing! Bravo....
