"In Exandria, I don’t know that your story will long be known. I don’t know who will remain to tell it. But it did happen and it did matter. And though Calamity is here, because of you, it will not be here forever." -Brennan Lee Mulligan, 6/16/2022.

"The brass ring endures" What a beautiful finale. Really well done, just like the rest. You're so damn good at capturing these moments!

Watched this, saw there was a whole playlist, watched the whole playlist, and watched this again. It's all so gorgeous. I knew you made incredible music, but the videos themselves blew me away. It's incredible how much you can see even though it's all so abstract. Cerrit's Escape in particular, when I watched it the first time, in my mind's eye I saw myself watching this sequence in a theater. It captured the cinematic vibe of Calamity so well. Thank you so much for making the whole series

Well that's one of the most beautiful things I ever experienced. I knew he'd make it out, I've seen the finale and a different animation about Cerrit's escape a million times, and yet i couldn't stop myself from laughing of joy when he broke through the darkness at 2:29 Absolutely fantastic work. My goodness.

Maybe my favorite CR fan art ever. Incredible what you can say with Impressionism

My goodness, that's high praise! And I agree-it was a learning process, but I was thrilled with how this medium conveyed these scenes!

Just found this from twitter and it's absolutely stunning. Is there any chance you will upload the versions with the voice-overs you had on twitter here on youtube? Either way this is absolutely incredible. You deserve so many views and so much attention for this

Not to any of the streaming services, but I may upload all of the "animatics" to KZbin. Not sure yet!

Glad to see that this mini series is as impactful as I felt that it was. May I ask why you decided to do Calamity in particular?
@hunterrogersonmusic Жыл бұрын
The simplest answer is that it gripped me wholly! But it was also very cinematic in nature, and, being only 4 episodes, the storytelling was really punchy and concise. The themes and story arc was "easy" to capture in a sense.

@@hunterrogersonmusic I completely understand what you mean. I use THIS as my go-to series to introduce people to DnD. Thanks for sharing!! Your work makes it all feel a little more alive, a little more whole. Great job on the animation and music

how'd you animate this? very very cool
@hunterrogersonmusic Жыл бұрын
it's all animated in Blender using some really complicated shaders (Live Paint Filter by Tradigital) to emulate the paint effect!

💀 i *just* found it a little bit ago lol, thank you anyways. i downloaded blender on an old laptop ages ago, might have to actually learn it now.
