Fireworks are intended to remind the civilians of the government’s military power. Fireworks terrify the local wildlife. 🐿️ 🦢 🪺 🦌💥🧨 I would rather that the government spend our money broadcasting your soothing ukulele playing and funding school music programs. Thank you. Fortunately, it doesn't cost money to upload on KZbin. But then there are ads (unless you use an ad blocker). Hmm. School music programs are a good thing, there is a bit of it in Germany, but I think it could be more and more systematic too. Anyway -- all the best and let's hope for a peaceful Year 2025.

It's indeed sad how much the wildlife is terrified every year by fireworks. Also pets get frightened a lot. However you are right -- fireworks are also a reminder of military power, and I think we cannot imagine the suffering of both humans and wildlife in war zones. I really wish there was a way to make this world more peaceful. It's a problem that there are so many many people who support dangerous populists and radical leaders and bring them to power. Humanity has to somehow get away from being so warlike.
