Still, I never saw Jimmy so happy. He was like a kid. We had money coming in through my Pittsburgh people and after a while even the Lufthansa thing began to calm down. But the thing that made Jimmy so happy that morning was that this was the day Tommy was being made.

@douglasfoley20604 жыл бұрын
Mmaguy13 thanks, and same to you. Sorry for your loss. It’ll be ok though, sometimes we wonder why God does the things he does and allows to happen. Also we may even hate and be angry for things, but we just have to keep faith and understand that no matter how much we disagree. No matter how much we may even hate and be angry at God, that he does these things for reasons we might not understand. Being faithful and trusting God is the best thing to do no matter how much we might not like it.

But Jimmy and I could never be made because we had irish blood, didn't even matter that my mother was Sicilian. To become a member of the crew you had to be 100% Italian so they can trace all your relatives back to the old country. See, its the highest honor they can give you, it means you belong to a family and a crew, it means that nobody can fuck around with you. It also means you could fuck around with anybody just as long as they aren't also a member. It's like a license to steal, its a license to do anything. As far as Jimmy was concerned with Tommy being made, it was like we were all being made. We would now have one of our own as a member.

@Texy888 жыл бұрын
She is playing it in that key (although in sheet music you are far more likely to see the enharmonic equivalent of Db major, as it is far less hassle for a musician to read a five-flat key signature than a seven-sharp one!). However, it is worth noting that the actual played key is C major; the studio recording only sounds higher due to a sped-up tape, so the pitch on that recording is somewhat sharp of concert pitch.
