Music Man JP6 Desert Gold (full option)

I wanted to make this short ''review'' of my new JP6 in the amazing desert gold finish because I couldn't find a lot of footage of this pretty rare color.
It's a older model from 2004 but its in mint condition and it plays and sounds amazing!
All the footage is taken by my Canon 600D (t3i) and the audio with the Shure VP83 shotgun mic.

Nice guitar, I love all the features and quality but the necks are so thin that it's not the easiest to play without fatigue for my wrist. What about you, do you like the neck shape?

Yeah I kinda grew out of the MM JP necks.. In the beginning I used to love them but nowadays I prefer them a hair thicker like the Charvel/Jackson necks (which are still really thin tho)

Thanks man! Love the mystic color and the newer ones do have stainless frets (this older version doesn't) but I got it for a good price, at 1650 euro's in mint condition :)

@@HErsemerci Congrats bro. Btw do you think the piezo is very necessary or do you use it very ofen. Right now I'm a little bit worried about the versatility of the guitar without the piezo that is to say I cant get some crystal clean like stratocasters.

@@timhuang4819Well it depends... When you like to play a lot of clean stuff it's a must have (a specially the mix between the piezo and humbuckers sounds awesome) But if you don't care too much about cleans the middel position where you use both outer coils of the humbuckers will do more than fine to get a nice clean tone! For recording cleans however the piezo is an awesome tool to have!

Its been quite a while since i'v tried a M2 but the neck of the JP6 is pretty different form ESP. its more like an Ibanez, so you ether love it or hate it.. but the jp6 with piezo is more versatile for sure than the standard M2.

@@YsAbTones Tbh i think that all guitars with a new price above 2,000 bucks have (or should have) great quality.. And i never had any quality issues with any of my expansive guitars that i own. So i don't think the Music Man is necessarily better when it comes to quality. Feel and sound is really what i look for when i buy an high end guitar.
