Garrosh sorry he is dull, stupid and betrayed the Horde. Thrall he did much more than Garrosh. He was raised by Humans, he can fight, he knows shamanic magic, he has released Orcs from Human captivity, he sailed to Kalimdor on the way, saving the Trolls after landing allied with Cairne and his tauren. Although he initially fought with the humans, he put aside the old hatred to save his friend Grom, and together he killed the Mannoroth later with the combined forces of the Night Elves and covenants defeated the Demons in the Battle of the Hyjal. Finally, he founded his Durotar state and he was the founder of Orgrimmar. Return of the Ogre from the Stonemaul to the Horde thanks to the Rexxar. So sorry, but Thrall is more for the Horde than Garrosh, and thanks to him, the Horde was a force to be Alliance reckoned with. And that's it.

Thanks for proving my point about them focusing more on Alliance VS Horde, Garrosh Hellscream is the Orc leader currently, this expansion, they not gonna be concentrating on Lich Kings or big evil dragons or Demons while rushing the faction based content, they focusing on making it Alliance VS Horde. MOP is sounding to be awesome already, The fact that the new race is Pandas doesn't really bother me that much like it seems to with some people.

You can say what you want, but thee's a reason THrall picked Garrosh to lead the Horde in his adscence. If Garrosh hadn't let the power go to his head he would have lead the Horde to way better times than Thrall. Thrall was a peacelover, he was too soft to lead the Horde. Garrosh ruled with an iron fist and there's no denying that under his rule the Horde was strong enough to conquer the world and crush the Alliance, had he only not rejected his allies. I think Vol'jin combines both. Go Vol'jin!

@thakilla2 I think it would be fair to say that Forsaken played a good part in WotlK lore too, considering they were both Ex-humans and Ex-scourge. I do agree about the cataclysm being both sided because its about how everyone is affected by the cataclysm with the exception of Dranei and Belves, but they will get their update im guessing when Outlands does, hopefully before the next expansion.

@drumstickNL It's the other way around, It was only one ship (Horde). That ship carried Thrall, They captured him and the crew got lost in the isles. Eventually we find Thrall captured in a fleet ship (There's like 10 ships) he gives a quest to kill the sailors, Like all of them. So, For the Horde.

It will be mainly based on Alliance VS Horde, exactly. So basically no factions made entirely out of hostile npcs with no players, that's what I mean by no main enemy.

@howareyaist Undead are humans / humanoids 'infected' with the Lich King's power of raising the dead. 2, 3, and 4 are all saying the same thing, plus they don't NEED opposite races. In the lore, worgen built the wall to keep out not only Arthas but to detatch themselves from Lordaeron and the humans because they didn't want to help or join them.

i've a feeling that will happen initially, then as the alliance breaks Garrosh and the horde falls apart and so on, suddenly an extremely strong BIG BAD will appear out of nowhere and lay waste to the tired horde and alliance forces. then we'll need to band together again when shit gets real

Apparently in MOP Blizzard are gonna be focusing more on Alliance VS Horde than anything else, they haven't even said what the main enemy of the expansion will be, dunno if there even will be one. The Orcs seem to be against the idea of peace, destroying everything they can, trying to steal land, even if they make peace with the Humans (seems unlikely), the Night Elves are still not about to let the Orcs steal all their land. I don't see there being peace any time soon between the factions.

@thakilla2 Woops, didn't mean to come off as violent. I actually discussed it with a guildmate and he made some good points. TBC = Horde, as he said. And WotLK because of Bolvar and Arthas, however he disagreed on Cata being horde. He said it was basically down the middle. Horde and Alliance both lore wise since it's making a new storyline instead of picking up on old ones. And there's not really much being done to either side that makes it lore favored. I would say more but my text count is ER-

@TubeBeasstt Well, to be fair, the title is "WARchief". Thrall is a wise leader, but is too obsessed making peace, even with his enemies (no matter how much they refuse to reciprocate the effort). The Alliance would massacre the Horde with Thrall as leader and then use him to mop up the mess. If nothing else, though, Garrosh would make an excellent General.

Maybe, but if Blizzard are mostly making it just Alliance VS Horde and no faction thats enemies with both of them, then hopefully, that will give them time to work on a few other things, cause there are a lot of things they seriously need to work on, updating Outland is just one of those things.
